Scream Factory has just released Killer Klowns from Outer Space in 4K to celebrate its 35th Anniversary, and what an exciting time to be a fan of the 1980s movie. With the recent surge of Klownapalooza happening in the past few years, including tons of merch made available by Spirit Halloween and the much-anticipated video game scheduled to be released next month, it seems apropos for the Klowns to finally make their 4K debut.
In 1988, the Chiodo Brothers took their seemingly ridiculous premise of having otherworldly monsters in the form of circus clowns land on Earth to wreak havoc on a quiet little town and produced it into a full-length motion picture. Inspired by creature features and B-movies alike, their unconventional film with a deliberately hokey title would garner an initially significant following that evolved into a major cult classic close to four decades later.

A couple months ago, it was announced that a video game based on the 1988 cult classic Killer Klowns from Outer Space (watch it Here) will be released for PC, Playstation 5, Playstation 4, Xbox Series, and Xbox One sometime in 2023. The 71-year-old will make his debut in the show’s Thanksgiving episode in what will be a very “interesting” turkey day for the Weavers. ABC is currently casting the role of Weaver’s mother.
Keach is perhaps most famous for his role in the Fox sitcom Titus, where he played the lewd father of comedian Christopher Titus. He has also appeared in a number of films, including The Bourne Legacy,...

Exclusive: Following his recent exit from New Wave Entertainment, veteran comedy talent manager Barry Katz is going solo again with the relaunch of Barry Katz Entertainment. All of Katz’s clients at New Wave will follow him to the new company including Jay Mohr, Christopher Titus, Bill Bellamy, Paul Rodriguez, Cheri Oteri, Nick Dipaolo and Faizon Love. Katz ran his original Barry Katz Entertainment for 15 years before selling it to New Wave at the end of 2003. Over the past eight years, he was involved in New Wave’s transformation into a full-service talent management, digital distribution, and production company with over 25 managers, producers, and development executives. The two sides parted ways last month when Katz’s contract was up. “After being a part of creating a different kind of management company — one that combined representation and production — I wanted to get back to focus less on the issues of a large company,...

Exclusive: Eight years after Barry Katz sold his talent management company to New Wave Entertainment, the two are parting ways. Katz will leave New Wave at the end of the year when his contract is up after the company opted not to renew it. “It has been a great eight years having Barry on our team, as we have truly accomplished a lot together; however, the time is right for us both to move on,” New Wave CEO Paul Apel said. “We sincerely wish him continued success in his endeavors.” Katz’s official title at New Wave was president of talent management, but he had mostly focused on his clients lately. Head of Production & Svp of Talent Management Brian Volk-Weiss, who has been leading New Wave’s Talent Management, Development and Production divisions, will continue to do so. Volk-Weiss was a longtime associate of Katz at Barry Katz Entertainment whom...

In 2008 I was going through some major family issues, ones I am (even now) reluctant to publicly talk about. Often times I would feel I was alone in wondering if I would suffer the way I was watching those close to me suffer. I was lost, and while from the outside I didn’t let on, inside I was going through my own personal hell. That’s when Christopher Titus came along. Having grown up with the likes of Malcolm in The Middle I was fully aware of the new age of programs that tackled the issues of the dysfunctional family in a darkly comedic way without losing a sense of reality. A few years prior to ’08 I had seen one of Titus‘s specials on Comedy Central (I believe it was The 5th Annual End of The World Tour) and was immediately entertained. Through Google, I discovered he once had a show – one that, oddly...

Joan Burrows (two time Fright Meter Award Winner Angela Bettis) returns to her hometown where, years earlier, she was the sole survivor of a sadistic, brutal serial killer's rampage in which she witnessed her best friend tortured and ultimately killed. It's her niece's graduation; however, the joyous atmosphere of the small town quickly shifts as teenagers begin showing up murdered in the same manner in which the serial killer that Joan thought she killed all those years earlier killed his victims. Could it really be him, or is someone recreating the carnage with the hopes of succeeding in what his/her inspiration failed to do before: murder Joan?
Scar really boils down to being part Saw/Hostel and part name any teenage slasher flick from the 80's. However, despite its obvious influences, Scar ultimately...

"The Resident" (2011)
Directed by Antti Jokinen
Released by Image Entertainment
This actually isn't the first time Hilary Swank has seen one of her films go direct to DVD after the films "Red Dust" and "Birds of America" suffered the same fate, but surely there was more riding on this horror film from the resurgent Hammer Films about a recently separated doctor who learns her Brooklyn loft isn't quite as wonderful as she thought it would be. "Secretary" screenwriter Erin Cressida Wilson co-wrote this film, which co-stars Christopher Lee, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, and Lee Pace.
"The Mikado" (1939)

It doesn't matter if you're a black swan or a white swan; we're sure you're going to want to bring home the dementedness that is Natalie Portman's Oscar-winning performance in Darren Aronofsky's Black Swan.
The film also stars Mila Kunis, Vincent Cassel, Barbara Hershey and Winona Ryder. If you live in Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco or Chicago, you can participate in the Black Swan Experience on April 2nd.
Since Scream 4 is coming out in theaters shortly, it is only appropriate that the Scream trilogy is being re-released in glorious Blu-ray. Bring home the franchise created by Wes Craven and Kevin Williamson that gave the horror genre a booster shot back in the mid 1990s. A trio from the original cast -- Neve Campbell, Courteney Cox and David Arquette -- will be gracing the big screens with a whole new cast soon enough.

My earliest recollection with the off-shoot network F/X came as an adolescent, desperately clinging to my sadomasochist need to be scared shitless from reruns of "Fox Mulder Fights My Nightmares". That little Fox-owned shack with seemingly one dour projectionist (and an extensive VHS collection) flipped through a few logos and catchphrases without anything substantial offered until 2002. That year, before Don Draper and Flight 815, the network took a chance developing shows with content usually reserved for the premium channels.
It's certainly easier to preach our benedictions on the altar of the shows we love, like "Sons of Anarchy" or "Nip/Tuck", but don't forget they've put some duds out there. Anyone remember "Lucky"? Or "Over There"? Care to sum-up your favorite skit from "The Orlando Jones Show"? F/X's "best" shows have even shown a tendency to waver in their plaudits. "SoA" received a lukewarm reception in its first season before picking steam,...

In 2000, Christopher Titus had an unexpected hit with 'Titus,' a dark sitcom based on his troubled family life. The show was taken mostly from his one-man show, 'Normal Rockwell Is Bleeding,' which he honed both in theaters, for the quieter, less funny moments, and in comedy clubs, to make sure it made people laugh out loud.
But Titus was used to the creative process as a stand-up comedian, where he was writer, director, performer, and everything else, and he butted heads with Fox and its rotation of network presidents over the three-year span of his show. 'Titus' was eventually canceled after Titus got into an argument with network head Gail Berman.

The 80's pop icon, Max Headroom, whose show is coming back on DVD, was more than just the basis for a hyper cult tech-drama and a shill for New Coke. He wore many big shoes, even though he had no feet, one can assume. He figuratively and literally was a talking head.
Max Headroom, who always reminded me of a young Christopher Titus immortalized in claymation, hosted several talk shows for the BBC and got his own taste of the late night dynasty on Cinemax with 'The Original Max Talking Headroom Show,' a cyberpunkish gab fest hosted by actor Matt Frewer as the digital stutterer.
Here's a hilarious sit down with William Shatner that's hilarious for two reasons: (1) the brilliant, improvised jabs they take with and at each other are themselves hilarious and (2) they are both such animated characters that it's actually hard to tell the two apart.

Comedian Gabriel Iglesias had his third Comedy Central stand-up special last night, titled "I'm Not Fat…I'm Fluffy." It's part of his trademark bit about "levels of fatness." I can't help but notice: What is up with the names of stand-up specials? Recent installments include: "Greg Behrendt: That Guy From That Thing," "Jon Reep: Metro Jethro," "Nick Swardson: Seriously, Who Farted?", which is incredibly classy. There are ones that have "funny" in the actual title -- "John Heffron: Middle Class Funny," "Adam Ferrara: Funny as Hell" -- and ones that rely on the beloved comedy school...

Christopher Titus is one angry dude.
Fresh off his divorce, he's brought us a new special, Love is Evol, which is set to air on Comedy Central on Saturday, February 14, that might be the bitterest, angriest thing that is marketed on the basis that it will make you laugh, ever. Bear in mind that I've read the majority of Matt Groening's Love is Hell comics, which routinely feature rabbit-like creatures sexually humiliating each other.
O yeah, and ‘evol' is love spelled backwards. Tell all your friends and look cool, because I was about five minutes into this thing before I figured that out.
The primary topic of the show is, naturally, his divorce from wife of fifteen years, which comprises nearly an hour of the 85-minute program, beginning on variations of ‘why, God, why,' and eventually getting into the specifics of the horrible conditions that he had to...

Like Christopher Titus said in his show Norman Rockwell is Bleeding, “We may not have won the Blue Ribbon. But we have it in our possession”. We came here to kick ass and chew bubblegum.

CORRECTED 12:42 a.m. PT Dec. 11
ABC has benched freshman dramedy "Big Shots".
The network has pulled the remaining three scheduled episodes -- two originals and one repeat -- of the series starring Michael Vartan, Dylan McDermott, Christopher Titus and Joshua Malina.
The network will air repeats of another freshman series, medical drama "Private Practice", in the Thursday 10 p.m. slot on Dec. 13, 20 and 27.
This could be a tryout behind "Grey's Anatomy", the series that spun it off.
"Shots", which landed the coveted post-"Grey"'s time slot in May, was greeted with mixed reviews and a cold reception by viewers.
Still, given the dearth of original scripted programming the networks are facing with the strike stretching into the new year, ABC plans to air the remaining three original "Shots" episodes in January.
"Shots", along with fellow rookie drama "Women's Murder Club", have not been picked up for a full season. The other three ABC freshman one-hours, "Practice", "Dirty Sexy Money" and "Pushing Daisies", have received back-nine orders.
