Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez are officially in the Christmas spirit! The couple recently documented decorating their Christmas tree on social media, and it looks like their whole blended family got in on the fun. The "Amor Amor Amor" singer posted photos of both Alex and her twins, Emme and Max, decking out their tree, which they kept simple with a red and gold theme. Our favorite shot has to be of Alex lifting Emme to hang an ornament high on the tree - so sweet! The only people missing were the former Mlb player's daughters, Natasha and Ella. The couple has been dating since the beginning of the year, and things don't seem to be slowing down. Rumor has it the two are on the road toward engagement. "All the kids want Jennifer and Alex to get married. There are definitely talks about getting married, but Jennifer is old...

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas for Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez.
The couple, who have been going strong since starting their relationship in February, recruited Lopez’s 9-year-old twins Emme and Max to help them decorate a Christmas tree. The singer documented the process on her Instagram story Tuesday, from hanging ornaments to admiring her work after the trimming was complete.
They went for a simple red and gold theme, with white lights and gold ribbons.

Although the carousel never stops turning, there’s no telling what a rickety old roller coaster might do. In Thursday’s milestone 300th episode of Grey’s Anatomy, a car from a ride at a county fair goes flying off the rails into the crowd, turning loose on Grey Sloan not just a bunch of injured patients but also memories of the doctors that they reminded their caregivers of. Ready to take the nostalgia trip? Read on.

Marvel's Runaways Review: Powered by Friendship, Teens Battle Empowered Parents in Super Hulu Series
The Breakfast Club meets X-Men with a splash of Stranger Things thrown in, Marvel’s Runaways is the richest, best-realized Marvel drama of the new TV season.
Premiering Tuesday, Nov. 21 (with the first three of 10 episodes) and based on the comic books by Brian K. Vaughan and Adrian Alphona, Runaways follows a pack of once-inseparable teens — Alex Wilder, Nico Minoru, Karolina Dean, Chase Stein, Gert Yorkes and her sister Molly Hernandez — one year after the death of Nico’s sister Amy. In the immediate wake of that loss (and in part fueled by mysterious funeral-day happenings), the “BFFs” abandoned that...

Earlier this year, Daily Dead had the opportunity to speak with several folks involved with the slasher comedy Tragedy Girls while in Austin at SXSW 2017 (which is where it celebrated its world premiere). But now that the film is set to enjoy its theatrical run this Friday, courtesy of Gunpowder & Sky, we thought we’d catch up again with co-writer/director Tyler MacIntyre, as well as with one-half of the film's titular anti-heroes, Alexandra Shipp (X-Men: Apocalypse, Straight Outta Compton), to talk Tragedy Girls one last time.
During our interview, Shipp and MacIntyre discussed their experiences collaborating together and digging into both Shipp’s character McKayla as well as the dynamic between her and her Bff, Sadie (played by Deadpool and The Exorcist TV series' Brianna Hildebrand). They also chatted about managing the tone of the wildly unhinged teenagers and what they’d like to do if there happens to...

When the fire with which Grey’s Anatomy concluded last season was put out, Bailey thought that the worst was over. But in Thursday’s episode, she learned that she’d thought wrong. Very wrong. The arrival of Jackson’s grandpa, Harper Avery, to assess the damage done — to his foundation’s bank balance more than to the hospital — led to one of Grey Sloan’s finest getting sacked. And, given Amelia’s diagnosis in the Season 14 premiere — coupled with her determination to keep her condition a secret — that first dismissed doctor’s head wasn’t necessarily the only one on the chopping block.

Den of Geek has narrowed down our favourite series 1-4 tasks from hugely funny Dave series Taskmaster…
Warning: if you’re new to Taskmaster, catch up on Dave before reading this. We’d hate to spoil any surprises.

Commence rummaging for your most unusual/impressive/heaviest item, because Taskmaster is back. Starting tonight on Dave is a new eight-episode run of the challenge-based comedy series, this time testing the mettle of Sir Bob Mortimer, Sally Phillips, Nish Kumar, Aisling Bea and Mark Watson. This one’s coconut-themed, apparently. (Previous series have been vaguely themed around eggs, potatoes, rubber ducks and… whimsy?)

Alright guys. The big Double Elimination episode is happening tonight September 7,2017, and Paul has revealed some very interesting plans that he has in store when they evict Jason. He doesn’t know that it’s a Double Elimination necessarily but he has revealed what he wants to happen after Jason walks out that door. Apparently, he has plans for he and Josh to stage some sort of huge fight between the both of them in an effort to convince Alex that Paul had nothing to do with her partner Jason getting evicted this week. We’re not sure how the fast-paced Double Eviction will affect this plan. We can’t imagine that it will run as smoothly since they won’t have as much time as they would during a regular week. We assume that Paul will still attempt his plans but will try to pull them off a little bit quicker.

Yesterday morning, September 4,2017, the Big Brother season 19 cast held their Power Of Veto ceremony for this week. As previously reported, Christmas is the current Hoh and she nominated houseguests Jason and Alex. Paul won the Power of Veto and had come up with a change of plans for this ceremony. His new change of plans did not bode well for giving us the drama that we were hoping for. They were designed to make Alex think that everything is still good and stay calm. Paul decided to use the veto to pull Alex off the block. Then Christmas nominated Kevin to go up in Alex’s place. So now, we have Jason and Kevin on the chopping block. Paul , Christmas and Josh’s real target is to evict Alex’s partner Jason this Thursday night. They’re still making Alex believe that Kevin is their target with a backdoor plan...

Alright guys. Yesterday in the Big Brother season 19 house. A series of conversations took place that ultimately revealed that Paul will actually be using the veto at the Pov ceremony today in an effort to keep Alex from getting super pissed off. Paul wants to basically keep tricking Alex until they can get her out next week rather than them just showing her their cards up front by leaving the nominations the same. At around 3:20 pm, Josh started questioning Christmas in the backyard over why they aren’t having Paul not use the Veto. So, at some point, Paul switched up the plan. He will be using the veto today at the Pov ceremony. Josh told Christmas, “We’ve got Raven and Kevin on our side so if it’s all of us against Alex then why not?” Christmas said, “We need to keep Alex calm and subdued by tricking her.

Alright guys. So, last night, August 31,2017, the Big Brother season 19 houseguests finally competed for the next Hoh after evicting Matt over Raven during the Live eviction show. There was a rain delay that prohibited them from doing the comp during the Live show. According to Big Brother Network, the Hoh competition was a physical sprint challenge. During it, the houseguests we required to hold a button until the screen displayed “Go.” If any of them made a false start, they were automatically eliminated from the comp. They say Paul had a plan going into this comp that entailed convincing Alex, Raven and Kevin to throw the comp to Josh or Christmas. They didn’t show this comp on the live feeds. The live feeds actually came back on about 90 minutes after the Live show ended. Apparently, Christmas pulled out the victory in this one even with a broken foot. We...

Alright, so we previously reported that earlier in the week, Mark campaigned to Christmas and Josh about possibly keeping him this week. He had suggested to get out Alex because she’s a great competitor. They thought he made some great points and seemingly changed up their order of who they should go after next. Instead of going after Jason, they agreed to go after Alex in this next week. Now, for some reason, that plan has been switched up yet again. They actually want to keep Alex to work for them and get rid of Jason next. Mark is definitely still the target to get evicted in tonight’s Live eviction show. Paul has certainly made sure of that. At around 4:35 pm pacific time yesterday August 23rd, Christmas told Josh, “I’m still ready to evict Mark if there’s a tie from Alex and Jason flipping.” Josh...

According to Big Brother Network, a ton of different conversations took place on the live feeds yesterday, August 21st. Apparently, since the houseguests feel like this week is a lock to get Mark out, they’ve been plotting and planning their future moves. And let me tell you it sounds like we could see quite a bit of chaos as Paul has one side pitted to go after the other side and vice versa. He is absolutely making sure everyone is focusing on going after everyone but him, Josh and Christmas. At 4:25 pm pacific time August 21st, Josh told Matt, Paul and Christmas, “We can’t let Jason or Alex win the next HoH because they might try to come after one of us. Matt said he wants to put up Alex or Jason. He thinks Jason might be a loose cannon without Alex. At one point, Paul mentioned...

The Big Brother jury is starting to take shape.
On Thursday night, the season 19 houseguests said goodbye to Cody and Elena in the summer’s first double eviction, becoming the first two members of the jury, which will decide who wins the game. It’s a move host Julie Chen calls “predictable.”

The brand-new series, which chronicles the lives of 22-year-old Alex and his friends in an affluent island community just southwest of Sarasota, Florida, has been mired in controversy ever since a Facebook page boycotting the show began gaining followers in recent days. The backlash has been focused on footage of one of Kompothecras’ friends allegedly dragging a shark behind a boat at high speed, which has since gone viral.

Whilst all this may still sound like an exercise in clickbait, being cut out of a production does have a consequence beyond ego hurting a bit. For the side effect...

Kara Danvers may be the central protagonist of Supergirl, but she is far from the only hero on this show. Tonight's episode placed the bulk of the storyline on the more than reliable Alex Danvers, and she was certainly up for the challenge. From its very first episode, this show has doubled down on its main theme of complex, brave female protagonists.
Even when it was inconsistently skipping along in Season 1, Supergirl had the one-two punch of both Kara and Alex Danvers. I'm not one to pit female characters against each other. We don't need to choose either Kara or Alex as the coolest character on this show. We can have both! That being said, in watching Alex's coming out storyline season and now her inner (and,...

Discreet is a psychological thriller about a mentally disturbed drifter, who in returning home to Texas to make amends with an alcoholic mother, is confronted with a haunted past. Desperate to deal with his demons, Alex sets out to avenge the source, while engaging in psychosexual rendezvous with various strangers along the way. Flashbacks to abusive scenes, creepy motivational videos and images of a floating dead body, blur the lines between reality and fantasy in this thought-provoking, twisted mystery.

Need to catch up? Check out the previous Quantico recap here.
The tragic story masked by all of Harry’s pickpocketing and bedhopping comes out in this week’s Quantico, and boy, it’s a rough one.
In an unguarded moment with Sebastian, the Mi-6 operative expands on the story in which his former partner, Elliot, killed himself. We learn that Elliott committed suicide in an act of extreme self-hatred, with a knife, while Harry watched. And all because he couldn’t bring himself to tell his powerful father that he was gay.

One day after what would have been Sandra Bland's 30th birthday, Star devoted an episode to honoring another black woman who died at the hands of police after a supposed routine traffic stop.
While the woman at the center of this show, salon employee Danielle Jackson, might be fictional, her story is all too real. Like Sandra Bland and so many others before her, Danielle was needlessly cut down before her time.
And like those other men and women, Danielle's tragic death becomes a rallying cry for the black community, especially when it appears that those responsible for her death will go unpunished.
Whatever you may think about movements like Black Lives Matter, you cannot deny that Star Season 1 Episode 7 was a powerful and timely reminder that amidst all of the other issues currently populating the news, racial tension remains at the forefront of American culture.

So, after everyone risked their lives on Supergirl Season 2 Episode 11 so that M'gann wouldn't have to go back to Mars, she's going back to Mars anyway.
Poor J'onn.
He and M'gann were finally starting to click, too. He deserves to be happy.
She really could have saved everyone a whole lot of trouble by making her little speech before everyone nearly got blown up, but at least everyone got out of it more or less unscathed.
Will we ever see her again? It's always a possibility.
At least we got to see some badass J'onn!
I don't know about you guys, but I personally found the whole shapeshifting thing a little confusing. I've gone back and re-watched a couple of scenes, and I'm still a little lost.
The first attack on the Deo was Armek as M'gann, who fought off J'onn while Winn and Alex were there in the room.

We’ve got questions, and you’ve (maybe) got answers! With another week of TV gone by, we’re lobbing queries left and right about shows including The Affair, Bones, Criminal Minds and Grey’s Anatomy!
1 | Did John Noble’s Sleepy Hollow return make you miss him even more?
2 | On Grimm, isn’t Meisner much more fun dead than he ever was alive?
3 | Did The Affair really think we’d want to spend half of the finale focused on new character Juliette over, say, seeing Alison or Cole at all? (Speaking of which, why so little of Ruth Wilson and Joshua Jackson this season?...

Finally, we got back into the swing of things.
It has been a long couple of months, and we spent the entire time dying to see what happened to Alex. We were finally graced with his appearance on Grey's Anatomy Season 13 Episode 11, and it was the sweetest scene of the night.
But apparently the show wasn't done screwing with us, because even after Grey's Anatomy Season 13 Episode 10's stand alone episode, where we thought we found out Alex's fate, we still had to wait until the end of this episode to actually see him.
All of that and we still don't know what happened!
The fact that we were left hanging again on the biggest plot point of the season could have easily been frustrating, but I rather enjoyed how they chose to handle it. Meredith spending the entire episode desperately trying to track down her Bff was fitting.
Not only was it fitting,...

I'm trying to remember a time when this show was really good...
On Quantico Season 2 Episode 10, a lot of things happened, as per usual with this show, but it was hard to focus on anything other than the utter confusion that came out of all these twists.
Unfortunately, that is starting to become the trend with Quantico. There aren't any great storytelling moments because everything is a reveal. It's all shock and no substance, and, in the case of this episode, it's more confusion than shock.
Everything in between the twists are procedural elements that change up slightly from week to week. There's no meat there. It's really just filling to last you until the next twist.
I'll admit, there was one moment that really worked for me – Leon's talk with Nimah.
We saw Leon put the pieces together and realize that Shelby/Jane has been playing him. It took...

Okay, does anyone understand what just happened?
On Quantico Season 2 Episode 9, Alex appears to have proven to Ryan that she has an Aic phone as well, but she can't have one, can she?
Alex has seen the phones before, if they are in fact the phones that were in Owen's hideaway space, so she could have gone out and bought her own. She could have also been given one by Owen, if he is recruiting people, when she took him back to his room.
Quantico pulls off some shocking twists rather well. This is not one of them because it does not make sense. Is Alex playing everyone? It does not seem like Harry knows that Alex was tapped (if she was tapped).
Wow, even trying to talk about this is confusing.

On Quantico Season 2 Episode 8, Nimah and Ryan are revealed to be Aic in the future, which begs the question of whether they are still undercover with the FBI or if they have turned. Honestly, it could go either way.

Ryan, Diana, and Leon are Aic. Does this surprise you or did you see it coming?
Jasmine: I can't say I saw all of it coming, but I'm not surprised. They did hint at Ryan, especially, so this didn't feel like some grand reveal. It was very anticlimactic. The only thing that surprised me was the ease in which Leon killed, and the fact that he actually confessed to Shelby.
Meaghan: Diana and Leon yes but Ryan no.

At long last the CW DC crossover event is taking place this week. This week DC will bring us the Invasion! storyline that was part of the comics in the late 80’s. Check out the story below.
Way back in 1989 DC comics brought us a 3 issue story arc, Invasion!, where an alien race, The Dominators, plotted to invade Earth to eliminate the growing Meta-Human presence which was becoming a concern to them and their plan for galactic control. The Dominators were able to form an alliance of various alien worlds to attack Earth and contain all super humans protecting the planet. The story was written by Keith Giffen & Bill Mantlo. Art was by Todd McFarlane, & Bart Sears.
28 Years later the CW put their own spin on this story with their current lineup of shows; Supergirl, The Flash, Arrow, & Legends of Tomorrow. Here’s a little bit of what’s in store for us.

Warning: Spoiler alert! Do not proceed if you haven't watched Thursday's Grey's Anatomy fall finale.
Alex Karev's life is crumbling before his very eyes.
On Thursday's fall finale of Grey's Anatomy, the suspended Grey-Sloan Memorial pediatric surgeon made a costly decision about his future that would dramatically stall his personal and professional lives.

The result of such a decision meant Alex would be going to prison for two years, though it's unclear if he actually will go through with it. Darn cliffhangers!

Jim: Amazingly well handled. The whole second discussion about how she had feelings off and on over the years that she had buried was so well handled. Then at the end when she was sitting heartbroken and Kara was holding her, I was nearly in tears myself.
Steve: That was actually a great scene. The emotions from both Kara and Alex were conveyed very well. Alex's awkward stumbling and hesitation coming out to Kara, as well as Kara's ultimate confusion and surprise was portrayed very well and made me equally uncomfortable, as if I was a part of that conversation.

Well, that was hard to watch.
On Quantico Season 2 Episode 7, the lesson of the week was enhanced torture. The fact that torture was a lesson wasn't shocking by any means. At some point, the recruits were going to learn about this. However, did we need to have so much torture in the present and future storylines?
You go from torture in the present to torture in the future, and it was a lot. It was clearly done to show a connection between the lesson and the terrorist plot, but it made a lot of the hour uncomfortable to watch. Personally, the worst part was Diana being tortured in the future. I was turning my head away from the screen.

During tonight's episode of Supergirl, Alex Danvers came to terms with the fact that she's gay. After initally denying it when Maggie Sawyer mistakenly believed the Deo agent was asking her out on a date, Alex later revealed that she's finally realised that she was never happy dating because she didn't want to be intimate with the men she was seeing. It's an interesting direction to take the character in, but one the show has already handled well based on what we saw in "Crossfire" earlier this evening. Talking to The Hollywood Reporter about the thought that went into making this decision for Alex, Supergirl executive producer Andrew Kreisberg had this to say about where things will go from here. "What I'm interested in, because I love Alex, is that I want Alex to be happy. There was always this sadness about her last season that I think we're really getting underneath now.

That was addressed on Supergirl Season 2 Episode 4 when Kara needed help in the aftermath of the chaos Roulette caused.
TV Fanatics Christine Hinton, Steve Ford, Yana Grebenyuk and Jim Garner chat Roulette's debut, Alex's feelings and J'onn's new storyline.
What did you think of Roulette?
Christine: The most interesting thing about her was that her connections got her cut loose before she was even taken into custody. I’m guessing we’ll be seeing more of her this season, but I wonder if it will be for another fight club, or something equally as nefarious.
Steve: She was far too hammy for me to take her as a serious villain, however I agree with Christine on it being interesting on how quickly her connections got her off the hook. It definitely won't be the last we see of Roullette, but I wish it was.

The first rule of Fight Club is: You do not talk about Fight Club. However, when a new fight club leads to the death of an unregistered alien, someone's bound to talk, especially when it's the Supergirl asking the questions.
