Lost Time is a horror and sci-fi thriller from director Christian Sesma (On Bloody Sunday). This title has recently completed production and the film had its World Premiere at the Sci-Fi-London Film Festival, earlier this month. An early review from that festival has not been kind: "it is in the writing and direction that weaknesses are most apparent [in the film]" (Mainly Movies). However, a film cannot be dismissed based on one review, so a preview for Lost Time is here. The film stars Luke Goss, Rochelle Vallese, Robert Davi, Derek Mears and Lin Shaye. The story for the film begins with a strange encounter on the road. Melissa (Jenni Blong) and Valerie (Vallese), who are sisters, experience a bright light and lost recollections, while on a sojourn. They attempt to piece back their memories with help from a clinician, who has written a book on similar experiences. But, Dr. Reed might be...

Hey guys, we have some pretty cool images and first concept art for Christian Sesma‘s sci-fi thriller titled Lost Time. The movie is apparently in post-production, so we definitely expect to hear & see more from Sesma and his team, but until that happens – make sure you check out the rest of this report for more details about the whole thing, and as usual – let us know what you think!
Written and directed by Christian Sesma, Lost Time centers on a woman named Valerie Dreyfuss and her sister Melissa who, after leaving a doctor visit with the worst news, come to a stop on a lonely stretch of road. Their car is engulfed by a blinding light….12 hours later Valerie wakes to the horror that her sister is gone, nowhere to be found.
Lost Time has quite interesting cast which includes Derek Mears, Robert Davi, Luke Goss, Rochelle Vallese, Lin Shaye and Jenni Blong.

Humanity’S End
Stars: Jay Laisne, Rochelle Vallese, Cynthia Ickes, William David Tulin, Kari Nissena | Written by Neil Johnson, Michael Jonathan Smith | Directed by Neil Johnson
Humanity’s End is a film that just confuses me, it’s got a plot that is pretty forgetful and bad special effects and if it relied on them then it would be no good. For me it would have been a total disaster if it was not for one character, Derasi Vorde.
Taking obvious inspiration from Star Trek, Battlestar Galactica, Babylon 5 and countless other sci-fi shows and films, Humanity’s End deals with the extinction of the human race and what appears to be the last known humans in the universe. A huge alien army are trying to hunt them down and destroy them. I guess Derasi Vorde is the last man in the universe meaning that if the human race is...

This has not been a good year for Los Angelino/extraterrestrial relations. First there was Battle: Los Angeles. Then The Asylum’s Battle of Los Angeles. Now there’s Alien Armageddon, which, not surprisingly, was originally titled Battleground Los Angeles.
On the same day that Cowboys & Aliens limps onto store shelves, another alien invasion movie featuring a cowboy battling aliens (judging by the cover art) will be touching down on DVD and Blu-ray via Phase 4 Films.
Starring Rochelle Vallese, Katharine MeEwan, Claudia Wells, Don Scribner, Marilyn Ghigliotti and DeeDee Bigelow, with a cameo by Virginia Hey, filmmaker Neil Johnson’s Alien Armageddon is an impressive looking low budget alien invasion effort about humanity’s last stand in the last remaining city on Earth – Los Angeles.
Have a look at the trailer. Seriously, have a look at it. Really damn impressive for low budget sci-fi movie.

Alien Armageddon is the latest alien invasion flick that has its eyes on Los Angeles for some reason. Why’s all the aliens want to go to L.A.? Anyway, the movie starts off with a bang, lots of cool special effects and action scenes and then slowly fades into a plain movie that sometimes gets confusing.
The movie follows a female who gets abducted and held in the alien concentration camp, or whatever you call it. She meets up with other captives and they share stories. They watch the aliens and their behavior to learn how to take advantage of them and their few weaknesses and learning some surprising secrets while doing so.
Director Neil Johnson threw in so many puking scenes that it’s really noticeable and ridiculous and that’s not all but I wont go in to that. The special effects are the standouts of the movie,...

*full disclosure: a screener of this film was provided by Phase 4 Films.
Director/writer: Neil Johnson.
Cast: Katharine McEwan, Don Scribner, Rochelle Vallese and DeeDee Bigelow.
Here is another entry into the alien invasion film genre with Alien Armageddon. This film follows Neil Johnson's previous film titled Nephilim (2007). This title recently had a World Premiere through video-on-demand August 1st. Phase 4 Films released this title and this reviewer wishes they had not. Perhaps the low production values did not deliver the film's message adequately. However, one message is clear to this film reviewer: Alien Armageddon is a really poor executed film. This film is one half prison drama and one half sci-fi melodrama. Neither of these genres really create much enthusiasm over here at 28Dla. So, in the end, Alien Armageddon introduces a new alien species with some weak acting, poorly dressed sets and an Anglo-Norma plotline that has been done better,...

If you thought the Battle for Los Angeles was over, think again. Director Neil Johnson (Humanity’s End) has brought together aliens, monsters, gorgeous women, strong men, blood, guts, stuff blowing up and of course flesh-ball babies (what more do you need?) for his movie, Alien Armageddon.
The movie stars Virginia Hey (Farscape), Claudia Wells (Back to the Future), Rochelle Vallese (The Traveler’s Guide to Life), Katharine MeEwan (The Secret), Don Scribner (Larry Crowne), Marilyn Ghigliotti (Clerks) and DeeDee Bigelow (Legend of the Red Reaper). As if Battle: Los Angeles and Battle of Los Angeles (the obligatory Asylum mockbuster) weren’t enough for the poor citizens of Los Angeles, now comes an Alien Armageddon… Directed by Neil Johnson, the film stars Katherine McEwan, Don Scribner, Rochelle Vallese, Benjamin J. Cain Jr, Claudia Wells (of Back to the Future fame), Julia Parker, Will Tulin, Marilyn Ghigliotti (Clerks), Eric Nyenhuis, DeeDee Bigelow and a cameo by Virginia Hey (Road Warrior, Farscape).
When the world is invaded by an ancient race of aliens, the city of Los Angeles is fortified as an alien stronghold. The only way to fight is from within.
And hey, what’s not to like about a film that features aliens, monsters, gorgeous women, strong men, blood, guts, stuff blowing up and (of course) flesh-ball babies! Just check out the trailer and images we’ve been sent for the film:

Battle: Los Angeles has been and gone and now it’s time for Alien Armageddon! As you’ll see from the trailer below, this movie has been done on a much smaller scale than Battle: La was but it looks rather a lot more fun! There are aliens, monsters, gorgeous women, strong men, blood, guts, stuff blowing up and of course flesh-ball babies! What more could you want?!

There is another alien invasion film set in Los Angeles, which is set for a theatrical release July 6th. The title is Alien Armageddon and the synopsis sounds strangely like Battle: Los Angeles and also The Asylum's knock-off Battle of Los Angeles. Skyline could also be lumped in with these films and this reviewer is starting to get the sense that certain Los Angeles filmmakers want the City of Angels to burn to the ground. With the financial setbacks for S.E.T.I. (Search for Extraterrestrial Life), director Neil Johnson will have to wait a little longer for Los Angeles to crumble and burn under alien attack. For now, sci-fi fans with similar interests to Johnson, can have their wish fulfillment somewhat satisfied by visiting the Crest Theatre in Westwood July 6th, to watch Alien Armageddon on the big screen!
