He has a background in sketch comedy and improvisation, having worked at both The Second City and The Practical Theatre Company in Chicago, as well as in the Los Angeles productions of Mental Cruelty, Sentimental Cruelty, and Monumental Cruelty.
He is an L.A. Weekly Award recipient for his comic portrayal of Bill Moyers in "Dutch And The Egghead" along with Steve Sheridan, who played Ronald Reagan.
