Anheuser-Busch has threatened to not attend Boston’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade after the South Boston Allied War Veterans Council excluded the Lgbtq veterans group from participating in the parade.
The brewing company joined Boston Mayor Marty Walsh and Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker in denouncing the parade’s decision to exclude Outvets, according to NBC Boston. Both Walsh and Baker said they would not march if Outvets, the Boston-based Lgbtq veteran organization, was turned away from the parade.

Despite recent rumors of ill health, Bobby Brown was in high spirits when he appeared at the Boston premiere of the Bet miniseries The New Edition Story on Sunday. In fact, he was far more concerned about the snow grounding his flight back to the decidedly sunnier California.
“I really want to get back to Los Angeles,” he told People. “My kid has to go to school tomorrow, so I’ve got to get a plane.” The 47-year-old former boy bander recently became a father for the seventh time when wife Alicia Etheredge-Brown gave birth to daughter Hendrix Estelle Sheba in July.

Julia Louis-Dreyfus teamed up with Vice President Joe Biden to create a short Veep inspired video, which was used to introduce President Barack Obama at the White House Correspondents Dinner.
Julia Louis-Dreyfus And Joe Biden
In the video, Louis-Dreyfus, appearing as her Veep character, a fictional Vice President with Presidential aspirations, Selina Meyer, decided to skip the White House Correspondents Dinner with Biden and go on a secret tour of the West Wing instead.
The funny video also featured cameos from First Lady Michelle Obama, who gave them a lecture on eating right, Nancy Pelosi, who ran into the Veeps while getting “Gavel Time” tattooed on her forearm, and House Speaker John Boehner, who skipped the “snorespondents dinner” to watch a Panda eat bamboo on a television in his office.
Thank you @MichelleObama @Flotus for letting me break into your kitchen. http://t.co/pHyOVydiG3 #Whcd #nerdprom pic.twitter.com...

Google goes green!
In honor of St. Patrick’s Day, Google’s homepage Doodle features a green stained-glass drawing. The day celebrates Ireland’s most commonly-recognized patron saint, Patrick, who died on March 17, according to tradition.
Stateside, this year’s biggest St. Patrick’s Day news story might be Boston Mayor Marty Walsh announcing that he will not participate in the annual South Boston St. Patrick’s Day parade because the event excludes Lgbt organizations. (New York City Mayor Bill De Blasio will not march in his local St. Patrick’s Day parade for the same reason.)
Never fear: The Chicago River is still green.

Guinness pulls out of parade, Chris Pine convicted of DUI, Kris Allen makes SXSW beautiful and wild
In what has to be the fastest trial I’ve ever heard of, Chris Pine was convicted of DUI in New Zealand. The actor was arrested last week after a wrap party. His lawyer argued he had a clean record, and that a conviction would make getting a visa difficult for the actor. The judge wasn’t buying it though. “This issue of a visa will be a complication, but you’re no different to other people who may wish to travel to Canada.” Pine still stopped outside the courthouse to sign autographs for fans.
Guinness joined Sam Adams, Hilton, and Heineken in dropping sponsorship of the St. Patrick’s Day Parade because Lgbt groups are banned. Prominent gay bars including the Stonewall Inn were set to ban the beverage tomorrow in protest.
