Starbucks appears to be taking over the world, one coffee shop at a time. On almost every street corner in almost every city on the planet there seems to be a shop furnished in the company’s trademark green facade.
What’s more, the company has a following of dedicated Starbucks goers who cannot let a day pass without getting their regular caffeine fix – be it via a Tall cappuccino, a Grande decaf americano, or even a Venti, skinny, half-shot, macchiato with a shot of caramel and a pinch of cinnamon. Although for the majority of the year the company’s drinks are served in their unique, plain white cup sizes – everyone knows Christmas is coming when Starbucks reveal their traditional “red” cups.
But how much do Starbucks aficionados actually know about the company itself? Do they know, for example, how many times the “average” customer visits an outlet,...

In every year since 2011, NFL Network has aired a show in the National Football League’s off-season that looks at who the players believe is the best player in the game at that particular time.
As with any list of the best players in any given sport or league it divides opinion among fans and pundits alike because everyone believes in something different that makes a player the best in their profession.
It is no different in the NFL. A lot of people believe that the Quarterback position in American Football is where the best players play, and to an extent they are correct because the most important position on any given team is the Quarterback position as the person who plays that position is often the key to the success of a team.
However, just because a player plays Quarterback for a team, it does...

Super Bowl 49 takes place this Sunday night at the University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, which is where the Arizona Cardinals. The matchup will see the Afc Champion New England Patriots take on the defending champions and Nfc winners the Seattle Seahawks. What’s great about the game is that they were both the top seeds in their conferences heading into the playoffs.
Seattle rode their home field advantage to another Super Bowl berth. It wasn’t easy, though. After dispatching the Carolina Panthers easily in the divisional playoffs, they hosted the Green Bay Packers in the Nfc Title game in Seattle. The Packers built up a 16-0 first half lead, then Seattle trailed 19-7 with four minutes remaining and were terrible on offense for most of the game. They managed to come back thanks to some big plays and a botched onside recovery by the Packers.

There’s still approximately a month to go until FIFA 15 finally becomes available and hundreds of thousands of gamers the world over purchase a copy to show real life players how it should be done. There may yet be several weeks to wait until we can finally get our mitts on EA Sports latest football sim but this hasn’t stopped a plethora of allegedly leaked player ratings appearing online.
The latest leaks, posted on Purely Football, claim to give an advanced preview of how EA Sports have chosen to rate the top players at Bayern Munich. It’s hard not to be excited to see how the German giants may have been rated. In many ways the Bavarian team were just too good last season – winning the Bundesliga so early that they took their foot off the pedal and subsequently got humiliated...

Tottenham Hotspur Football Club last night confirmed the signing of United States right back DeAndre Yedlin from Seattle Sounders. The player will remain with his club for another season and join up with his new team-mates ahead of the 2015-16 Premier League campaign.
Yedlin has signed a four year contract with the White Hart Lane outfit and was encouraged to make the move by the United States national team coach Jurgen Klinsmann – a former Spurs player – who also took to Twitter to congratulate Yedlin about the move. About the move, Yedlin told Spurs’ official website “I’m very excited to come to the Premier League and challenge myself against some of the best players in the world”.
He is an incredibly pacey and attack-minded full back who impressed when given pitch time for the United States at this summer’s World Cup. Indeed,...

After a couple of weeks of rumours about the potential deal, the move to bring Seattle Sounders and United States defender DeAndre Yedlin to White Hart Lane is said to be on the verge of completion.
The Daily Star are reporting that, despite rival interest from fellow Premier League side Liverpool and Italian giants Roma, the pacey full back – who impressed when he was on the pitch at the World Cup, handling the likes of Eden Hazard with a level of competency beyond his years and experience – will join Mauricio Pochettino’s revolution at Spurs, as Sounders’ head coach Sigi Schmid has stated that Yedlin will finalise his move to north London “in the next day or two”.
Yedlin sat out Sounders’ 2-0 victory over Houston Dynamo at the weekend, which Schmid said was for precautionary reasons ahead of the proposed move:

Spurs are continuing to add new players to their squad this summer as American full-back DeAndre Yedlin is on the brink of signing at White Hart Lane. The 21-year-old has travelled to London after impressing new Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino and will complete a permanent move.
And while he’s a prospect, having played for the USA in Brazil and impressing for Seattle Sounders – enough to earn a £2.5m move – it seems that Spurs might be taking the lessons of last summer on board a little too much.
If you compare Spurs’ spending to Liverpool’s, both last summer and this, you have to wonder if the Spurs board are taking the wrong things from their failure to smartly invest the Gareth Bale money.
Liverpool have correctly identified that all prospects need to be weighed up with experienced players and ones who can have instant impacts.

Second year NFL quarterback Russell Wilson led the Seattle Seahawks to a dominant Super bowl victory over the Denver Broncos in New York last night.
Wilson threw two touchdowns and no interceptions while Malcolm Smith claimed the coveted Mvp award and a fantastic performance from Percy Harvin capped a great night for the Nfc Champions.
A terrible display by the Denver Broncos who throughout the regular season had become statistically the best ever offence in NFL history but could only put up 8 points in New York will be glad to have come away avoiding the first ever Super bowl shut out.
The match started with a bang when on the first play of the game, the Bronco’s centre sent the ball over Peyton Manning’s head and into the end zone for Seattle to score a safety and set the record for...
