John D. Weaver was born on February 4, 1912 in Washington, District of Columbia, USA. He was a writer, known for American Playhouse (1980), Holiday Affair (1949) and Dreamboat (1952). He was married to Chica Weaver and Harriett Weaver. He died on December 4, 2002 in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.
His book, "The Brownsville Raid," led to the exoneration of 167 black
soldiers who had been discharged without honor 64 years earlier.
