In 2000 Stuart was nominated for best performance in gay, lesbian, bisexual or transgender roles against Johnny Depp, Robert Downey Jr and Dan Futterman.
Stuart participates in Charity Events to raise money for Help for Heroes.
In October 2001 Stuart enlisted into the British Army "The First Battalion The Royal Regiment of Fusiliers - Infantry".
Stuart had never acted before but auditioned after being discovered by
a talent scout whilst with friends in Whitley Bay, England.
When Stuart passed his Phase One Training for the Army at ATR Bassingbourne he was awarded best recruit at physical training within his platoon.
Stuart's young brother John also secured a part in "Billy Elliot"
as an extra.
Stuart is a qualified Close Protection Operative (Bodyguard).
Stuarts younger brother John is still serving in the British Army and is a qualified Platoon Sergeant.
Stuart trains in various types of Martial Arts including Brazilian Jujitzu and Muay Thai. He has competed in four amateur Mixed Martial Arts events.
