Well, we’ve all known this is coming for a while, but it’s getting more real by the day. Cisco Ramon is leaving Team Flash. Which means in the real world that Carlos Valdes is leaving The Flash. No more Vibe. No more cool and nerdy t-shirts. No more awesome villain names. It’s a bummer.
To be fair, it feels like The Flash has been teasing Cisco’s departure forever by now. Cisco took a hiatus from the team last season to go investigate post-Crisis on Infinite Earths anomalies and to visit Atlantis. The show has been trying out potential new Team Flash members in the form of Brandon McKnight’s generally delightful Chester P. Runk and Kayla Compton’s Allegra Garcia.
But recent developments have seen the prospect of Cisco’s permanent departure become increasingly real in recent weeks. With the love of Cisco’s life, Kamila...

The Flash season 6 is wrapping up in just two weeks’ time. Yep, that will mark only its nineteenth episode, but that’s the way it has to go, given that the Covid-19 pandemic has shut down production. Thankfully, it sounds like episode 6×19 “Success is Assured” will be a pretty fitting place to end the run, as it’ll see Barry’s efforts to save wife Iris from the Mirrorverse come to a head. But is the title giving away the ending, or will there be a twist in the tale?
In the last couple of episodes, Barry finally realized the terrible truth – that he’s been living with an evil mirror copy of his wife for the past few months – and attempted to free the real Iris. Unfortunately, it didn’t work and Eva McCulloch Aka the new Mirror Master escaped her confines instead. That means Iris, as well as...

We haven’t even seen the midseason premiere yet, but here’s a peek into the future at what’s to come in the episode after next over on The Flash. As that’ll be Valentine’s Day week, the Scarlet Speedster’s show will deliver a romance-themed hour revolving around Barry and Iris on Date Night. However, this being Central City, their plans will be scuppered by the arrival of not one, but two old enemies.
These two familiar foes are metahuman crime bosses Amunet Black and Goldface. This marks the first appearance of Katee Sackhoff as fan favorite Amunet since her recurring role in season 4. Meanwhile, Goldface debuted in an episode of season 5, as played by Damion Poitier – Aka Thanos in The Avengers. The pair haven’t shared the screen before, but the two characters have been established as ex-husband and wife. So, could sparks fly again in this outing?...

As “Crisis on Infinite Earths” draws nearer, we’ve seen Barry Allen become more accepting of his fated death in the coming crossover. I mean, it’s not like he wants to die, but he’s willing to heroically sacrifice himself so that his loved ones – and everyone in existence, for that matter – may go on living.
Given that, we’re about to start seeing Barry readying Cisco Ramon as new Team Flash leader. It’s kind of odd to do so now that Cisco has given up his Vibe powers, but I guess he can run tech support well enough while Killer Frost and Elongated Man do their thing in the field.
Further hinting at Cisco coming to the forefront are these newly released photos from The Flash episode 6×05, “Kiss Kiss Breach Breach.” For those who are current on news pertaining to the series, they already know this to...

As much as I’ve loved The Flash, it’s been well-documented that I didn’t really care for season 4. Still, that broadcast year did produce at least a few bright spots, one of them being Danny Trejo’s Breacher. Long story short, he was the interdimensional bounty hunter father of Gypsy, and had a knack for being a pain in the neck to her boyfriend, Cisco Ramon.
Considering how Cisco and Gypsy are no longer an item and the former has a new lady in his life, that doesn’t necessarily mean there isn’t room for Breacher. With the coming Crisis looming, the Star Labs crew could certainly use a man of his talents.
Well, thanks to the official synopsis for episode 6×05, “Kiss Kiss Breach Breach,” we know exactly when Breacher will return:
Danny Trejo Guest Stars – Cisco’s (Carlos Valdes) faith in his ability to fill Barry...

The return of The CW’s Arrowverse is nearly here. Excitement is high for the franchise, too, as this year’s crossover event, “Crisis on Infinite Earths,” is going to be the biggest yet. So much focus has been given to the adaptation of, perhaps, DC’s greatest event series though that the storylines of the individual shows have been a little forgotten. Fans of The Flash, in particular, have been left in the dark, as so much of that series’ future hinges on the aforementioned “Crisis.”
That being said, there have been a few teases already as to what the new season has in store for Team Flash, such as the reveal that Sendhil Ramamurthy of Heroes fame will be portraying the DC villain Bloodwork. It’s also been noted that the main antagonist for Barry and company will be the most personal yet. Think on the level of Eobard Thawne (the Reverse-Flash.

Who runs the world? Girls!
The CW has officially taken a gigantic leap by giving their first female cast member a chance to step behind the lens and direct an episode of Arrowverse TV.
Lucky for Flash Fanatics, Og member of Team Flash Danielle Panabaker aka Caitlin Snow/Killer Frost got the opportunity.
Both critics and fans alike have been highly anticipating Panabaker's directorial debut, itching to see what she can do. The expectations were high, the pressure was on, and Panabaker couldn’t have delivered a more solid episode if she tried.
The Superhero world is officially not a boys club, anymore.
Panabaker smashed the glass ceiling with The Flash Season 5 Episode 18, delivering a fast-paced, beautifully executed hour of television that was filled to the brim with nostalgia and edge of your seat storytelling.
Credit can’t solely go to Panabaker, of course; Judalina Neira and Kelly Wheeler also...

There’s a new villain being introduced to The CW’s DC series The Flash. His name is Godspeed and we have our first look at him to share with you.
The character is going to make his big debut on the series tonight and this is sure to be a game-changing villain in the series! Why? Because he has the power to separate the other speedsters from their connection to the speed force, which can kill them in the process. This is a powerful ability to have. Oh yeah, he’s also supposed to be even faster than Barry Allen’s Flash!
Godspeed is a fairly new character to the world of Flash. He was created by Joshua Williamson and Carmine Di Giandomenico and he made his first appearance in The Flash: Rebirth #1. The character’s real name is August Heart and like a lot of villains, he initially...

Now that the cat is out of the bag and Barry Allen is aware that his daughter, Nora West-Allen, has been working with Eobard Thawne this whole time, the final batch of episodes making up The Flash‘s current run will undoubtedly be a markedly different viewing experiences from what we’ve seen so far.
In fact, when we pick back up with the gang tomorrow night, it seems like we’ll learn the full breadth of Nora and Thawne’s partnership. Already, the first trailer for the episode has hinted at just that, with the official synopsis for “Godspeed” backing it up, too.
But something we haven’t seen yet is the titular character himself. Yes, Godspeed is definitely set to appear on the next installment of The Flash and at long last, The CW has debuted a few photos of him to give viewers an idea of what he’ll look like.

Now that the cat is out of the bag and Barry Allen is well aware that his daughter, Nora, is in collusion with his archenemy, Eobard Thawne, expect for the Scarlet Speedster to seek answers when The Flash returns for the final handful of episodes making up season 5. And though I’m pretty sure Nora is innocent in this situation, I understand that her father wants to be 100% sure of what’s going on.
As you can see in bountiful gallery found below, Barry does indeed travel to 2049 in order to confront Thawne in his cell. While there, I surmise that much be revealed not only to him, but to we the viewers as well. After all, even though we know more about what’s up than Barry himself, we’re still in the dark when it comes to the major details.

Based on the cliffhanger to last month’s “What’s Past is Prologue” alone, it’s only fair to assume that the Nora West-Allen-Eobard Thawne dynamic will factor heavily into season 5B. I don’t know about you, but I can’t wait to learn the full details of their collusion, and how Thawne’s manipulation of the young heroine factors into what is undoubtedly a grand scheme of his.

When it comes to fans of Caitlin Snow, I imagine there to be just as many of those who favor her normal guise just as there are those who dig her Killer Frost persona. Actually, they’re two distinct women living within the same body, so it’s important we not confuse her with those who simply suit up and fight crime.
Funny enough, they’ve begun working in tandem in recent months, even leaving notes for each other. Personally, I love seeing as much of the Killer Frost half of the equation as I can, though it’s hard to part with Caitlin herself because she’s been around since the pilot episode. Perhaps it’s conflicted viewers like myself who’ve forced the producers to continue giving us the best of both worlds.
Well, when we join The Flash for its midseason premiere next week, expect for both personalities to make an appearance.

It’s not often that advance promotional material paints such an odd picture of what’s to come, but next week’s episode of The Flash looks to be one of those instances. To be more specific, I’m talking about when the trailer and promo photos seemingly have nothing to do with each other and focus on drastically different plot threads.
If you’ll recall, the first video circulating ahead of “News Flash” showed Nora in an altered state of mind, looking hellbent on killing her father, that being the Scarlet Speedster himself. And oddly enough, the gallery we have for you today focuses on what appears to be a charity softball game.
So, as you navigate the slideshow found below, be prepared to see a side of Barry Allen we don’t often encounter. If anything, he’s finally living up to the nickname “Slugger” given to him by his late father.

Nora Allen might have super-speed just like her pops, but it seems the superheroine will be in need of some saving in an upcoming episode of The Flash season 5. Titled “News Flash,” the episode’s written by Kelly Wheeler & Lauren Certo and directed by Brent Crowell and will introduce Spin, a gender-swapped version of a DC comics foe who’s previously been described as “a young aspiring social media influencer who seizes the opportunity to make herself famous when she discovers there is a new hero in Central City.” The following synopsis for the episode makes it clear that it’s Nora Aka Xs that Spin targets.
