- He was an extremely close friend to the legendary André René Roussimoff. During the '80s and early '90s he was André's assistant.

- Rendered inactive due to an injury sustained from a bump gone wrong at WWE Judgment Day (2002). During the 'Hell In A Cell' match between Triple H & Chris Jericho, he was knocked off the ring apron into the cell. He landed awkwardly on the floor, dislocating his shoulder. He had two shoulder operations for the injury while inactive. Doctors told him he will not be able to Referee again.
- Returned to referee the Chris Jericho/Christian match at WrestleMania XX (2004) in Madison Square Garden. During the final three-count of the match, he dislocated his shoulder again; resulting in yet another surgery, and ending his career as a referee.
- In late 2005 and early 2006 Tim was involved in skits for the WWE called "Lunchtime Suicide". In these skits, interviewer Josh Matthews would interact with White, while White would eventually attempt suicide.
- After retiring from the ring he became an agent/producer until his release from the WWE in January 2009.
- Took part in a suicide storyline during WWE Armageddon, where he shot himself off screen. (December 2005)
