A piece of Eminem's past has turned to smoke. The rapper's childhood home in Detroit, which was the cover art for his new album Marshall Mathers LP 2 as well as Marshall Mathers LP released in 2000, is damaged from a blaze that erupted at the abandoned house last night. According to the Detroit Free Press, the Detroit Fire Department responded to the fire in the 19900 block of Dresden Street near East State Fair, just south of the notorious Eight Mile, at 6:20 p.m. Thursday, Senior Chief Jack Wiley said.
