Daunte Wright, a 20-year-old black man, was killed by police during a traffic stop on Sunday afternoon in Brooklyn Center, Minnesota. His death has sparked demonstrations in the Minneapolis suburb and around the United States, and reignited the national conversation around policing practices and violence against black Americans. Wright was pulled over just 10 miles from where another unarmed black man, George Floyd, was killed last May by former Minneapolis Police officer Derek Chauvin. Chauvin’s trial entered its third week on Monday, compounding the tension that beset the community following...

Taylor Swift let it all out during her Tampa, Florida concert on Tuesday night, as she marked the one-year anniversary of the day a jury sided with her in a sexual assault trial by opening up to fans on stage while fighting back tears.
“A year ago I was not playing in a stadium in Tampa, I was in a courtroom in Denver, Colorado,” Swift says, in the video below, shot by a concertgoer during the pop star’s latest stop on her “Reputation” tour. “This is the day the jury sided in my favor and said that they believed me.”
“I guess I just think about all the people that weren’t believed and the people who haven’t been believed, and the people who are afraid to speak up because they think they won’t be believed,” the 28-year-old singer continued.

Last January I sat down with USC grad C. Wrenn Ball and his debut project which comes with some definite hype as it received the Alfred P. Sloan Fellowship. Nervous funnyman Hank Azaria fell down and shattered his ribs on his first date following his divorce from actress Helen Hunt.
The Along Came Polly star was so distraught by their split in 2010 he started dating too soon and instantly made a fool of himself.
He tells Elle magazine, "It was kind of a disaster... I was leaving a friend's house who had some construction work going on. It was dark out. I remember saying to myself, 'Be careful, there are a lot of holes around here.' And I fell in a hole anyway - a six-foot hole - and I actually busted a couple of ribs.
"I was all dirty and bloody, and I showed up at this girl's door. You'd think I would have taken the hint that God was telling me I wasn't ready to date."
The actor has since found love with girlfriend Katie Wright, the mother of his two-year-old son Hank.

Funnyman Hank Azaria struggled with his split from ex-wife Helen Hunt because her image kept popping up on billboards as he attempted to move on with his life.
The Smurfs and The Simpsons star and actress Hunt split in 2000, less than a year after they wed, and Azaria admits his ex's celebrity status made the break-up really tough - because he was constantly reminded of their failed romance.
He tells Elle magazine, "Getting over someone is a grieving process. You mourn the loss of the relationship, and that's only expedited by 'Out of sight, out of mind.' But when you walk outside and see them on a billboard or on TV or on the cover of a magazine, it reopens the wound. It's a high-class problem, but it's for real."
Azaria has since moved on with girlfriend Katie Wright, the mother of his two-year-old son Hank. Hunt is currently in a relationship with director Matthew Carnahan. They have a seven-year-old daughter, called Makena.
