“Deadpool 2” and “Joker” star Zazie Beetz and “The Crown” royalty Elizabeth Debicki are teaming up for “This Blue Is Mine,” the English-language debut of Brazilian director Iuli Gerbase.
International sales on the the film, described as an “original, psychosexual sci-fi drama,” have been launched by HanWay Films ahead of Cannes, with UTA Independent Film Group repping the U.S. sale. Marissa McMahon and Ashley Schlaifer of Kamala Films (“A Private War”) are producing. Beetz will serve as an executive producer.

It looks as though director Todd Phillips has officially finished Joker: Folie a Deux, with the MPAA officially granting it an R-rating for “some strong violence, language throughout, some sexuality, and brief full nudity.” On the latter, it looks like Joker is about to show us the full monty, doesn’t it? At any rate, the R-rating isn’t a surprise, as that’s what the first film got, and I imagine a PG-13 sequel would have landed with a thud, as fans expect this to be as hardcore and uncompromising as the original.
Here’s the poster:
But, what else do we know about Joker: Folie a Deux? Plenty!
First Images:
Ever since the movie started shooting in December 2022, Phillips has been generous as far as images teasing the look of his Phoenix’s Arthur Fleck and Lady Gaga’s Harley Quinn go. Here’s a moody early pic...

One of the prevailing observations of Travis Scott’s Utopia album has been how much it sounds like a Ye West project. Listeners have called out the bevy of features, momentous beat switches, and sparse, reverbed landscapes as noticeable effects of being around Ye as much as Travis has. Chance The Rapper once called himself “Kanye’s best prodigy,” but Travis may have claimed that crown by default on Utopia.
Over the last week, fans have revealed that the Travis-Ye parallels aren’t just about inspiration from Ye but tracks...

Spoiler Alert: This interview discusses the final episode of “Full Circle,” now streaming on Max.
It’s fitting that everyone ends up back where they started at the conclusion of “Full Circle” – well, everyone that’s not dead or in police custody.
Things comes crashing into each other before those final moments, though. Parallel storylines reach a shared — and complicated — dramatic climax when Louis (Gerald Jones) sneaks into the Browne family’s spacious New York apartment to snag an expensive painting that can give him and his sister, Natalia (Adia), enough leverage to return to their home country Guyana, away from the Mafia war in which they’ve become entangled. But Samantha (Claire Danes) is on the premises, pulling a gun on Louis and demanding that he leave. The two are strangers, but a key exchange sparks a realization for Sam: Louis says he is from Essequibo, a riverside area...
