TV and theatre star John Bisom has committed suicide, according to a report.
The 47 year old, who appeared on stage in Mamma Mia! and The Full Monty and voiced the Merry Man in Shrek on the big screen, was found dead in California on Sunday night.
He had been suffering from depression and is believed to have taken his own life, according to BroadwayWorld.com.
As well as leading roles in theatre productions The Will Rogers Follies, The Music Man, Crazy for You and Sweet Charity, Bisom also appeared on TV in Desperate Housewives, Charmed, Roswell and The X-Files.
