Was a writer and editor for the L.A. fanzine Slash Magazine, which he co-founded in 1977.
Created Los Angeles' first reggae magazine, Angeleno Dread.
Came to the U.S. from France in 1973 until 1980.
Found the name Catholic Discipline in red dripping ink on the men's bathroom wall at the Masque when working there part-time in the late '70s.
