Lorde honored the victims of the Christchurch terror attack with a simmering cover version of Simon & Garfunkel’s “The Sound of Silence.” The Wednesday performance, a duet with fellow New Zealander Marlon Williams, highlighted the “You Are Us/Aroha Nui” concert benefitting Our People, Our City, a fund established to aid those affected by the March 15th shootings at the Christchurch mosque that killed 50 and injured 50 others.

It may be over ten years since the class of '99 walked the hallways of their high school, but it seems for Stifler, Jim, Michelle and the rest of the gang, the playlist hasn't really changed.
With "American Reunion" headed to theaters in a couple of weeks, details on the official soundtrack (via Film Music Reporter) as well as the full list of songs in the film has dropped, and it's a bit of jump back in time. Oh sure, the party-starting tracks most people expect these days from the interchangeable likes of Cobra Starship, Lmfao and 3Oh!3 feature, but it's the '90s that are here in full force. New Zealand music legend Dave Dobbyn is set to headline a massive charity concert to help victims of the devastating earthquake that hit the country on September 4.
Band Together will be held at Hagley Park in Christchurch – the South Island city where the quake struck – on October 23, and will feature some big names on the Kiwi music scene, including Anika Moa, Bic Runga, Opshop and the Exponents.
