Gina Sandy is a native Southern Californian performing artist. With a predominant background in theatre she has been able to easily thrive in the Hollywood variety scene. She has trained with such prestigious institutions as Playhouse West, Tepper/Gallegos, The Groundlings, The Second City, Hollywood Film Institute, Flappers, The Clown School, The Comedy Store, Troubadour Theater Company, the Academy of Magical Arts, Scott Land School of Puppetry Arts & Design, and with French Master Clown Philippe Gaulier. She is an Alumni of the Redlands Theatre Festival; an outdoor summer stock company using a British repertory system.
Only Intern to ever work four consecutive 3-month internship programs at the Falcon Theatre in Toluca Lake.
Served as a Reserve Hospital Corpsman for Naval Medical Center San Diego.
In 1994 Gina became a part of the Acting Company and Resident Artist of The Redlands Theatre Festival; a 407 seat outdoor summer repertory program and the only true British Repertory System this side of the Mississippi.
Was nominated for The Irene Ryan Acting Scholarship through the Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival for her role as Sarah Siddons in Christopher Durang's 'The Actor's Nightmare' at El Camino College.
