Stratton locked on to Belair’s injured knee, using The Est’s braids to take Belair down before sending her crashing knee first into the ring steps. Belair tried for the Kod but Stratton was able to evade it as Belair’s knees gave out. Stratton used her wits to her advantage, distracting the...

WWE finally seems to be going back to its glory days after the recent WrestleMania 40. Ever since Dwayne Johnson a.k.a The Rock returned to the ring, the events at the promotion and the storyline seem to have gotten better and better. The recent WrestleMania was also considered to be one of the best in recent times and reportedly satisfied many fans.
After the promotion’s biggest event, WWE seems to be going twice as hard as the recent SmackDown saw Kevin Owens bleeding after a fight with Tama Tonga. “Big” Bronson Reed etched his name in history as he won the 2024 Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal in thrilling fashion. Omos looked like the early favorite as he tossed out Kit Wilson, prompting Elton Prince to voluntarily eliminate himself to join his Pretty Deadly partner and avoid the wrath of The Nigerian Giant. As the field dwindled, Ricochet was poised to take control, but he was shockingly eliminated by Jd McDonagh, who was then promptly superkicked over the top rope by Akira Tozawa. Tozawa, Reed, Ivar and Otis were the final four Superstars, and the Aussie giant stood tall after eliminating the Viking Raider.

With one of the most illustrious careers in WWE history, John Cena is arguably one of the greatest wrestlers of all time, if not the greatest. Regarded as one of the GOATs of WWE for good reason, Cena’s legacy is unparalleled, having matched Ric Flair’s record with 16 World Championship victories. With WrestleMania 40 just around the corner, there is reason to believe John Cena’s return at the Show of Shows is a real possibility now.

Match #1: The Judgment Day def. The New Day and #DIY The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Damian Priest, Finn Bálor, Jd McDonagh and “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio picked up a major victory ahead of WrestleMania Xl by defeating the joint teams of New Day and #DIY. After New Day nullified McDonagh, #DIY used their tandem offense to take out “Dirty” Dom, but it didn’t bode well for Xavier Woods, Kofi Kingston, Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa after that exchange. Roman Reigns has accomplished everything in WWE, from winning the WWE Championship, Universal Championship, United States, and Intercontinental Championships. He has done it all. However, one of the most controversial moments in his career would remain his win at the 2015 Royal Rumble. The moment was so bad and embarrassing that even The Tribal Chief struggled to forget it.

Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa are both part of The Bloodline, the famous familial team in WWE, that is currently wreaking havoc on Cody Rhodes’ dreams of ending his storyline. Sikoa helped his cousin Reigns defeat Drew McIntyre at the 2022 Clash at the Castle. He did the same thing at WrestleMania 39 in 2023, helping Reigns retain the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship.

Dwayne Johnson returned to WWE at Friday Night SmackDown at the Desert Diamond Arena in Arizona. The event opened with members of The Bloodline – Roman Reigns, Solo Sikoa, Jimmy Uso, and manager Paul Heyman. While the wrestlers made their way to the ring, Roman Reigns told the crowd to acknowledge him and was met with a reception he was definitely not accepting, receiving boos from the audience.

Match #1: Angel and Humberto def. Cruz Del Toro and Joaquin Wilde The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
The Lwo is still reeling from Santos Escobar’s brutal betrayal, and now they must deal with the added threat of Angel and Humberto. Escobar’s newest teammates sent a message by defeating Joaquin Wilde and Cruz Del Toro and doing it in a controversial fashion. As the Superstars battled inside the ring, Carlito appeared and attacked Escobar, but it led to more problems for Wilde and Del Toro. In the chaos, Garza rolled up Wilde and grabbed the ropes for leverage in order to secure the pinfall victory.
My Score: 2.5 out of 5 Match #2: Bianca Belair def. Bayley...

Match #1: United States Championship Tournament – Carmelo Hayes def. Grayson Waller The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Nxt Superstar has come to SmackDown and stunned Grayson Waller to advance in the United States Championship Tournament. The brash Waller used his size advantage to down the athletic Hayes, but it would only take mere moments for Melo to prove that he is Him. One quick counter led to a First 48, and the WWE Universe was treated to a Nothing But Net leg drop from the top rope that saw Hayes punch his ticket to the semi-finals.
My Score: 2.5 out of 5 Match #2: United States Championship Tournament – Kevin Owens def. Austin Theory The following is courtesy of wwe.

Welcome to this review of WWE Crown Jewel 2022, right here on Nerdly… The controversy over this event seems to die down with each and every event passing and I’m not sure how I feel about that. Anyway, let’s see what happened during this year’s show, which opened off with Sami Zayn defeating Jd McDonagh in a kickoff match!
Match #1: WWE World Heavyweight Championship – Seth “Freakin” Rollins def. Drew McIntyre The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
The WWE World Heavyweight Title remains with Seth “Freakin” Rollins but not before an absolute war with Drew McIntyre. The Scottish Warrior looked poise to destroy and dethrone Rollins, and after a plethora of Pedigrees, stomps, and Claymores, the champion dug deep and put his most dangerous challenger down for the count by ducking a Claymore and connecting with another Pedigree and a second ring-rattling stomp. After the bout, Damian Priest...
