Charles Green’s allegations have been disseminated to one outlet after another that knew better than to publish a damaging story with no actual proof.

Glasgow Rangers are one of the biggest-supported clubs in Great Britain. A Scottish institution, the club was once referred to as ‘Scotia’s Darling Club’ by the media of the country. Those days have changed somewhat, and Rangers have faced bigger challenges than ever before in regards to how they are perceived by the rest of the Scottish game.
Following the unique challenges of administration and eventual liquidation of the business side of the club in 2012, Rangers were torn down by all and sundry. Intriguingly, arrests to then-owners like Craig Whyte and Charles Green recently have shown that those accusations against the fabric of Rangers have not been merited. In short, the Scottish football authorities must face up to the fact that they pre-judged the club without actually knowing the facts themselves.
Things seem to be getting back on their feet, due to the hard work...

Charles Green is known for his cuss-laden rants on the YouTube channel The Angry Grandpa Show. His youngest son Michael, who has his own vlogging channel and goes by the moniker “Pickleboy,” constantly pranks his dad to goad him on, with great humorous effect.
However, Michael recently decided to lighten up on the joking and do something rather serious and sentimental for his father. In a video from July 10, 2015, Michael and his girlfriend Bridgette West purchased a house for Green and surprised him with the news.
Michael starts by explaining to viewers how he and Bridgette had planned a big prank for Angry Grandpa for months. The prank, however, was that the couple took Green house-hunting with them under the pretense the house was for them. Green, who at the time resided in a trailer park, starts pointing out all the upgraded and attractive features of the house he likes,...

Sorry if you guys see any typos in this story, but we can barely see through the happy tears streaming down our face after watching this video. Michael, the man behind YouTube's "The Angry Grandpa Show" has built his career around hilarious videos featuring him pulling pranks on his dad, Charles Green, and filming his grumpy reactions. The prankster has over 1.3 million followers on the YouTube channel, but his best prank was yet to come. "For the past few months, Bridgette and I have been taking Grandpa house hunting with us," he writes in the video description. "The idea was to make him believe we were searching for a house for us when in reality we were just having him choose his...

As Rangers inevitably hurtle towards a deal to rename Ibrox after Mike Ashley acquired the stadium’s naming rights for just £1, and Derek Llambias heads towards the CEO job, it’s an interesting point to look back to when the rights were up for grabs and Llambias represented Sports Direct to a consultancy meeting. Ignoring for a minute how much of a conflict of interest that now looks, some of the revelations from then chief executive Charles Green brought to light how much renaming Newcastle‘s stadium actually brought into the club.
At the time of the Sports Direct Arena renaming, Derek Llambias spoke to BBC Radio Newcastle to say that he hoped a permanent sponsor could generate “between £8million and 10million a year. [And] That would give us another player.”
As if confirming as much, when Charles Green revealed the discussions held about renaming the stadium,...

Rangers’ owner Charles Green has been very vocal in his opposition to the Sfa’s new reconstruction plans for Scottish football. The current structure of Scottish football is a 12-team top league with three leagues of 10 below it. Under the new proposals there will be a first and second division of 12 teams and a bottom division of 18 teams.
Charles Green believes the Sfa proposals to be unfair on his club as if they win promotion from the Scottish Third Division this season then they will ‘still be playing the same teams next season’. This is despite the fact that Rangers are still being promoted from the fourth-tier of Scottish football to the third.
In fact Green is so angry about this that he has said he no longer wants Rangers to be part of Scottish football and that he wants his team to move to the English league system. This...

For the uninitiated, the spectacular fall from grace experienced by Rangers football club serves as a cautionary tale for all football clubs across the world. In broad strokes, Rangers were discovered to have been paying players and staff using something called an Ebt (employee benefits trust) which, it has been alleged, is illegal and constitutes tax evasion according to the Hmrc. The total sum has been quoted at approximately £94 million owed by Rangers now including all fees, though the ‘old co’ will be responsible for this. The penalties handed down were a demotion to the third division of Scottish Football and a transfer embargo for this season.
Despite shedding the ‘old co’ and becoming the ‘new co’ Rangers still face a number of issues, the most important of which are listed here.
