Disaster movies have been a staple of cinema for years – be they of the man made or natural variety – the latter of which are usually showcases for massively budgeted special effects that are oftentimes more the focus of the film than the people involved. With an ensemble cast including Trace Adkins, Thora Birch, Peter Facinelli, Anne Heche, Will Peltz, Davi Santos, Amy Smart, Sofia Vassilieva and Paz Vega, the film is set in a US heartland town where a tornado forces four families to overcome their differences in order to survive.
Quiver has set the film for a US/Canada release on October 29 in select theatres and on video-on-demand.

“Avatar” will also become available on the service in Australia and New Zealand on Nov. 19. Disney Plus will be the exclusive subscription streaming home of the film, which will be marking the 10th anniversary of its theatrical release on Dec. 18.
“Avatar” was nominated for nine Oscars and won three for visual effects, cinematography and production design. It’s the second-highest worldwide grosser of all time at $2.79 billion, trailing only “Avengers: Endgame.”
