Kelsi Phung, born in 1993, is a French-Vietnamese non-binary filmmaker and graphic author. They graduated in 2018 from the animated film department of Gobelins, in Paris, where they directed the short film "Les lèvres gercées", which tells the impact of the lack of communication at home for a transgender child.
Since 2018, Kelsi Phung has received media attention for their commitment against anti-asian racism and the recognition of non-binary identities in France. In 2019, they appeared in the programs "Extimité" and "Programme B" on Binge Audio. In 2020, they were the subject of a portrait in the LGBTI+ media Komitid, around the intersection between queer and anti-racist matters.
