Jackie Salvucci

At age 21, Jackie Salvucci is already an accomplished singer, recording
artist and actor with an impressive list of credits. As the former lead
singer of a Boston-based 'boy band', Jackie recorded and performed with
the group for just over one year. Jackie has worked with Lou Pearlman,
the creative mastermind behind The Backstreet Boys, NSYNC and LFO. In
late1999, he participated in the nationwide talent search sponsored by
Pearlman's Trans-Continental Companies, The ABC Television Network, MTV
and Bunim-Murray Productions. Out of over 2,000 hopefuls, Jackie wound
up as a top 25 semi finalist. He was featured on ABC-TV's Making The
Band, the television series chronicling the creation of O-Town. Shortly
after his appearance on Making The Band, he appeared as a guest on The
Rosie O'Donnell Show.
To kick off his solo career, Jackie made it through seven rounds of competition in the new Ed McMahon's Next Big Star talent search and ultimately became a finalist. Most recently, Jackie was prominently featured, along with his younger sister Vanessa, throughout the new season of the hit reality television series Popstars 2 on The WB.
Aside from focusing on his musical talents, Jackie is currently pursuing an acting career. He recently appeared in a handful of regional and national TV commercials. In the past, he's appeared in numerous musical theater productions. His latest goal is to work on a television series and/or major motion picture, while at the same time, pursuing his musical career as a solo artist or duo with his talented 18-year-old sister, Vanessa.
