"Last week you were a straight-a student, now a killer-for-hire?" Vmi has unveiled an official trailer for an indie action thriller film titled Kill Craft, the latest creation from filmmaker Mark Savage. Yet another new hitman movie to join so many others recently released, though this one is actually a hitwoman movie. When a veteran hitman is killed on the job, leaving his wife and teenage daughter without a source of income, his daughter reluctantly agrees to fulfill his remaining job, putting herself and her mother in terrible jeopardy. Of course! Being an assassin is a dangerous job and there will always be tons of people after you. So what's new? Starring Senae Loutsis as Marina, Michael Parè as her father, Bill Oberst Jr., Isis Eggleston, Amy Dilorenzo, Cole Springer, Theresa Allen, Caleb Baker, Jason Brooks, and Ben Chacon. "Daddy's Little Killer" is such a bad tagline. There are so...

"Where are the diamonds?!?!" Uncork'd Entertainment has revealed an official trailer for an action crime thriller titled Bring Him Back Dead, another of these direct-to-video junk movies they're whipping out all the time. A violent gang of criminals is ordered, after a botched heist, to track down and eliminate the man who betrayed them and ran off with their loot. Action veteran Gary Daniels stars as the "anti-hero" of the film, while Louis Mandylor plays the leader of the gang, and Daniel Baldwin a man with mysterious motives. The distributor tries to hype this up: "Non-stop action, three bonafide action legends, and Mark Savage at the helm? A must-see for action fans!" The cast also includes Katie Keene, Ryan M. Shaw, LeJon Woods, Zhuzha Akova, and Chris Torem. This looks absolutely terrible, but sometimes I think that's the point. Who watches these awful films anyway? It's not worth even a 0.99 rental price.

Grange Hill. The only school kids ever seemed to be interested in. Us included…
At your school, did anyone die in the swimming pool? Did you have to contend with vicious bullies (and we’re talking about the teachers!)? Did everyone have London accents coarse enough to strip the paint off the classroom doors? Yes? Flippin’ ’eck, you must have gone to Grange Hill!
If you grew up in the 1980s but don’t have a fondness for Grange Hill, there’s probably only one explanation: you were banned from watching it. Yep, for those of us who could get away with it, this rites-of-passage drama series about the pupils of a north-London comprehensive was must-see television, but by parents and teachers it was generally despised. It all started in 1978, and continues to this day (just about), but its golden age was undoubtedly the 1980s.
