Writer and director Tahira Kashyap calls herself a “festival kid”, saying she gets acknowledged for her work only at film festivals. Talking at the Cinevesture International Film Festival 2024 (Ciff), Kashyap elaborated on the importance that film festivals hold in her life.
Kashyap, who made her directorial debut in 2017 with the short film ‘Toffee’, said: “I am a festival kid only. I got my acknowledgement through film festivals only. When I made my first short film ‘Toffee’ it was selected at many film festivals, and that was a very gratifying experience for a first-time director. I love short films and film festivals.”

Tahira, who is married to Bollywood star Ayushmann Khurrana, posted a video on Instagram on Sunday. In the clip, Tahira's children Varushka and Virajveer playing with a water hose and Peanut joining them.
In another clip, Virajveer is seen playing badminton and as soon as the shuttlecock falls down on the ground, Peanut runs away with it.

After celebrated Bollywood choreographer and filmmaker Farah Khan shared her daughter Anya's efforts to raise money for animals in need during the Covid-19 crisis, celebrities and the public jumped at the chance to order a sketch from the 12-year-old artist.
Anya's drawings of animals have already raised Rs 70,000 for animal charities, including People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) India.?
"Anya Kunder is proving that you're never too young to make the world a better place for animals," says PETA India Director of Celebrity and Public Relations Sachin Bangera. "As long as there are dogs, cats, cows, and other animals in our communities who need help, PETA India will continue to assist them ? and Anya is helping us do that."?
