Zayn Malik is officially back. The former One Direction star finally released his first single in two years and his first with Mercury Records, on July 21 after weeks of teasing fans with video clips and snippets. The summer track, titled "Love Like This," sees Malik riding around New York City on a motorbike, wearing black and red leathers, to entice his love interest. The video, directed by Ivanna and Frank Borin, leads to Malik passionately kissing actress Grace Dumdaw before the pair are lifted into the sky together.
Moments after the track premiered on YouTube, Malik took to Instagram to post a behind-the-scenes video with the caption: "Thanks for all the love!! without you, none of this is possible, can't tell you all how happy and grateful i am. peace and love." Zayn has returned with a single entitled “Love Like This,” his first new music since 2021.
With lyrics about the uncertain-yet-exciting leap of faith one must take when they commit to a relationship, “Love Like This” is an uplifting pop bop. Mellow harmonic padding and a breakbeat-esque beat sit beneath Zayn’s vocals, as he delivers lines about how he “cannot go back” to a life without his new love. At one point, as astute One Direction fans pointed out, it’s even possible that Zayn makes a nod to his former band, as he sings: “Doesn’t matter if it’s left or it’s right, your direction is on my mind.”
“Love Like This” also comes along with a music video featuring a stoic-looking Zayn saddling his motorcycle and wistfully contemplating in the midst of a cityscape. It was directed by Ivanna Borin and Frank Borin, and filmed in New York.

Jack Harlow is all about that fresh lifestyle. On Friday, the Kentucky-born rapper released his single “Nail Tech” — and the video, which Harlow co-directed with Frank Borin, stars none other than Yung Miami of City Girls. The song features background vocals from C-Tez, who also appears in the clip.
The visual opens with Harlow in a nail salon, walking alongside the City Girls rapper. He goes from salon to boardroom, serves as a motivational speaker, plays football with his fabulous friends and coaches ringside, showcasing the fruits of his success.

5 Seconds of Summer put the old-school machismo of Japan’s Rockabilly culture at the center of their new video for “Youngblood.” The anachronistic clip follows a gang of Fonz lookalikes through Tokyo. They smoke cigarettes and sport shellacked pompadours. Strutting to the propulsive beat, the gang take over a main square, West Side Story-style, pouting at their female Rockabilly counterparts in polka-dot dresses.
The concept for the video came from director Frank Borin (Angel Haze, The Script, Tinashe), who became fascinated by the country’s improbable rockabilly scene during a previous trip to Japan.

Last night, crowds gathered in Los Angeles to watch the star-studded arrivals at the long-awaited premiere of "Eclipse." Star Taylor Lautner was of course on hand, and of course MTV's Josh Horowitz asked him a little about "Abduction," the John Singleton-directed flick that he'll be moving on to before production starts for "Breaking Dawn" in the fall.
"It's a very real action-thriller," Lautner said. "[It has a] great story, great cast and I start in like three days." Whoa! Three days! He said that last night, which means he'll be on set in roughly 48 hours from now.
"I have a day off tomorrow, I go to New York the next day and then I leave to Pittsburgh. I'm so excited."
Josh also asked Lautner about another project, "The Butcherhouse Chronicles." There's an IMDb listing for it, with Lautner set to appear alongside "Glee" star Lea Michelle and "Halloween" remake star Tyler Mane.

Jls are going to a club in a music video promoting their new single "The Club Is Alive". The British boyband are seen invading the dance floor while singing to the ladies, "You could be the DJ, I could be the dance floor."
The music video was filmed in a Los Angeles nightclub, the same venue where Usher filmed visuals for his 2008 single "Love in This Club". Frank Borin who directed Alexandra Burke's "Broken Heels" clip serves behind the lens, while Marty Kedulka who has worked with Janet Jackson and Justin Timberlake is hired to be the choreographer.
"The Club Is Alive" is the lead single from Jls's forthcoming second studio album. Other than the first single, details about the effort remain under wraps. But, the album may include a material produced by Swizz Beatz as this all-male group have won a bidding war for a recording session with...

Bloody Disgusting learned today of some major news. Stephen Susco, who penned The Grudge and The Grudge 2, is currently doing a rewrite on Paramount Pictures' The Butcherhouse Chronicles, which is to be produced by Platinum Dunes (Friday the 13th, A Nightmare on Elm Street). Frank Borin is no longer attached to direct. Originally written by Michael Hidalgo, Butcherhouse is a darkly comic horror stage show about four high school students out to discover the truth behind a mysterious old (haunted) property known as the Butcherhouse. In addition, Susco also has been developing The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3D for Twisted Pictures. No word on where that project is at.

Wait, Platinum Dunes is behind a movie that isn’t a remake? Wow. Then the following is definitely some exciting news, kids! The Butcherhouse Chronicles just secured a director and made its first casting announcements over the weekend.
Frank Borin will take his first crack at directing a full-length feature with The Butcherhouse Chronicles. Dustin Milligan (pictured, The Messengers, Final Destination 3) and newcomer Donta Storey are the first to join the cast.
Dig the official synopsis; The Butcherhouse Chronicles is a darkly comic horror show about five high school students who are dared to discover the truth behind a mysterious old property known as The Butcherhouse. The archetypes of a slasher film frame a story about unrequited lust and the ripple effect of poor judgment. It is based on the play scripted by Michael Hidalgo.
I'm not quite sure if this looks to reinvent the slasher genre, but it...

Platinum Dunes, which has spent years plundering the Valley Of Classic Horror, has hired Frank Borin to direct its latest picture. Surprise! It’s not a remake. For once. Variety notes “The Butcherhouse Chronicles” was originally a stage play by Michael Hidalgo. Sounding eerily like your standard slasher, dumb teens explore ...

I know this is a website and not something you’d likely be reading while standing up, but just in case be sure you’re sitting down for this one. Ready? A music video director has been hired to helm a horror movie for Platinum Dunes.
I know; it’s shocking, risky ... radical, even. But it’s the truth. Frank Borin is his name, and The Butcherhouse Chronicles is the movie. The darkly comedic concept began life as a play about four teens who uncover the dark history of a mysterious old property called Butcherhouse. I mean, seriously, with a name like that how much digging do you have to do to discover nefarious events in its past?
The Butcherhouse Chronicles is one of the first original properties for Platinum Dunes, which is of course focusing all its energies on the upcoming Friday the 13th remake right now. We’ll...
