Day of a Thousand Screams If you are a horror fan that is familiar with the title Revenge of the Unhappy Campers, you know that it is considered one of the most obscure titles in horror film history. Horror fans have been clamoring to see this title as it seems like a cross between the Friday the 13th series and Sleepaway Camp II: Unhappy Campers, both favorites in the horror genre by fans. Director Shawnee McCormack followed that up with Night of a Thousand Screams and it's sequel and then simply vanished amidst all the legal trouble and difficulties that Revenge of the Unhappy Campers faced getting out to the general viewing public. Shawnee McCormack the director behind the truly obscure Revenge of the Unhappy Campers and Night of a Thousand Screams has finally broken her silence on why these films have remained so obscure! Here is a very brief little Q & A I had with her. This is what she had to say:

Sadly, what you heard about the copyright is true. Rotuc was financed by 3 different companies, two of which went under.
