It’s a hot soap from ’65, when movies promised raging passion but delivered cheap teases and hypocritical judgments. It’s Suzanne Pleshette’s only starring role, but it doesn’t exploit her bright personality, her sense of humor. John O’Hara’s tale hasn’t much pity for a promiscuous young wife who breaks the rules. Does nymphomania make her a social menace, or is she victimized by a script determined to put the blame on Mame? Costarring Ben Gazzara, Bradford Dillman and Peter Graves.

Hey guys, it's 4/20! You know what that means right? Well, you see, 420 is the police code for when you bust someone for... wait, what's that? Oh, 420 was never a police code for anything, never mind possession of marijuana? Um... 'kay, well there must be some easily researched genesis for the obsession with the date 4/20. *Googles*. Hmm, well it looks like it developed in 1971 with a group of teenagers who are now in their 50s as the time of day they'd meet up to get high and spread from there. That is ... frighteningly mundane but I guess any excuse for a celebration is a good one. So all of you who partake, enjoy yourselves, those of you who prefer to reach an altered state of consciousness via other means, enjoy yourselves too. Here's your Tuesday night line up:
8:00 p.m.: "American Idol" on Fox.
"The Biggest Loser" on NBC.
