O.D. Wells was born in New York City and at an early age was discovered to have a genius IQ of over 160. He was reading at college level in the 4th grade and studied art at NYU at the age of 11 on a scholarship program for gifted kids. He went to the School of Art and Design for animation and photography, but after graduating found that it was hard for people of color to get work in his field. He joined the army during the Vietnam Conflict and became a warrant Officer in the 442nd signal corps and 1st signal out of Thailand. After surviving a catastrophic plane crash overseas, he began to get incredible visions that led him to begin writing. Since that time he has written, co-written, and published more than 13 books, short stories, screen plays, and periodicals to include Time Magazine, U.S. Army F.O.D manuals, Lab Data Control technical writing for liquid chromatography, and has invented several anti-wire tapping devices. His first singularly published book was called "Last Raid on Abendigo Three" which is a science fiction novel filled with non-stop action. He later wrote "Heaven and the Deconstruction of Nimrod" which told the forgotten tale about Nimrod (also known as Gilgamesh) who was Noah's great grandson. He traveled the world with the army archaeological team, looking for relics in the Solomon Islands, Cambodia, Marshal Islands, Indo-China, and Central America; he has visited 33 countries.
