Bloodthirst is from the folks at Mahal Empire, last year they gave us their version of the zombie apocalypse, Bridge of the Doomed. This year they’re revisiting the apocalypse, only in Bloodthirst the threat comes from a different strain of the undead, vampires. Interestingly, both films were directed by Michael Su and written by Adrian Milnes this time with a story credit to Massimiliano Cerchi
In the world of Bloodthirst two factions of vampires fight for control of what’s left of the planet. What’s left of humanity is caught in the middle and rapidly heading for extinction, something that would doom the vampires as well. John Shepard walks that world as a vampire hunter who’s on the trail of The Master Vampire.

FBI Agent Victoria Travers seems to be some kind of adrenaline junkie. She has a habit of doing things her own way, risks be damned. And after once again bringing a suspect in without waiting for backup her boss Lockwood tells her she’s taking a vacation whether she likes it or not. Judging by the way she calls him a son of a bitch we can assume she doesn’t like it.
For reasons of budget, the film’s not Victoria’s, she, along with her husband Steve and their daughter Juliette (Alma Petra Vago) decide Romania is the perfect place to take a vacation. Except it’s not much of a vacation because almost immediately after they arrive she spots wanted criminal John Slater.
Despite being well out of her jurisdiction...

Bridge of the Doomed certainly can’t be accused of being a slow burn. Within the first few minutes, an army base comes under attack, and a group of civilians is overrun and eaten by zombies. And there’s no hesitation to put the bloody results on the screen. This is the zombie apocalypse 80s style, except it isn’t badly dubbed into English.
After the opening attack, General Vasquez sends a squad led by Lt Whitmore and Sgt. Hernandez to hold a bridge or destroy it in necessary, while they wait for reinforcements to arrive. Getting those reinforcements falls to the ominously named Colonel Charon.
Back at the bridge Privates Lin and Sanders save a woman named Susan from being raped...

Bloodthirst is a vampire film, set in a post-apocalyptic environment. This indie thriller is co-produced by companies: Mahal Empire and Blaen-y-Bootleg Films. Together, they have brought director Michael Su (Doomed), writers Massimiliano Cerchi and Adrian Milnes, along with executive producer Mem Ferda (Revolver) to an imaginative tale, shot in Nevada. And now, an early concept poster is available here, ahead of the film's impending release. The poster shows a masked character. Hidden behind goggles and a cowboy hat, this figure is framed in sangre. Very bloody, this graphic previews some of the film's action and horror. There is no release date for Bloodthirst, yet. However, once completed, this title will host a longer trailer. For now, fans of vampires or of indie thrillers can find the latest on Bloodthirst here. Release Date: Tba. Director: Michael Su. Writers: Massimiliano Cerchi, Adrian Milnes. Executive Producers: Mem Ferda, Scott Atkins, Jagtar Bains et.
