Following the firing of MacGyver showrunner Peter Lenkov earlier this month, star Lucas Till has now opened up about the toxic environment on the set of the CBS series that left him feeling “suicidal.”
While speaking to Vanity Fair Magazine, Till – also known for playing Alex Summers/Havok in the X-Men movies – says he was the victim of bullying, verbal abuse and body shaming by Lenkov, who was severed from his deal with the network this July following a complaint and subsequent investigation against him.
Till recalled his terrible experience making the first season of the hit show, a revival of the classic 80s/90s series starring Richard Dean Anderson in the title role, as so:
“I’ve never worked this hard in my life, and I am fine with hard work. But the way Peter treats people is just unacceptable. I was suicidal that first year on the show,...

Ezra Miller’s future as the Flash in the Dceu is in doubt after a troubling video of him choking a female fan went viral. At this stage, it’s unknown how Warner Bros. will respond to the situation, but it’s definitely the case that many fans are calling for another actor to be brought on board to play Barry Allen in the upcoming Flash movie. The question is, though, who?
Well, this cool new piece of fan art serves as a pitch for X-Men star Lucas Till to take over the part of the Scarlet Speedster. Till’s most known to superhero fans for playing Alex Summers Aka Havok across three films – namely 2011’s X-Men: First Class, 2014’s X-Men: Days of Future Past and 2016’s X-Men: Apocalypse. He’s made his mark on the Marvel universe, then, so why not have him switch sides to DC?

Who is he: Havok, a.k.a. Alex Summers
His power: Havok can shoot out huge blasts of energy from his body, an unpredictable power that he initially needs a containment suit to control.
His story: Havok was a prisoner of the U.S. government when Charles Xavier and Erik Lehnsherr approached him to join their CIA-sanctioned mutant team in X-Men: First Class, giving him the opportunity to use his destructive mutant powers for good. Unfortunately, Alex’s hot-headed nature is partially responsible for the death of fellow new X-Man Darwin, who is killed when Sebastian Shaw absorbs Havok’s energy blast and transfers it inside Darwin to blow him up. Havok isn’t too shaken by his role in Darwin’s demise, and quickly settles into his role as one of Charles and Erik’s new recruits, gaining a containment suit that allows him greater control of his powers...

Like his comic book counterpart, Apocalypse is arguably the single most powerful mutant in the X-Men movie, but that isn.t all that distinguishes him from the rest of the pack. He.s also said to be the world.s "First Mutant," originally living in Egypt thousands of years ago, which we saw in the X-Men: Days of Future Past post-credits scene. The X-Men: Apocalypse previews have provided glimpses of how long the eponymous villain has been around, but a new clip from the blockbuster delves into what the U.S government knows about his history. In this scene, titled "Moira.s Office," we see James McAvoy.s Charles Xavier and Lucas Till.s Alex Summers meeting with CIA agent Moira McTaggert, played by Rose Byrne, who previously appeared in X-Men: First Class. McTaggert explains that after the existence of mutants was made public in 1973 (a.k.a. X-Men: Days...

20th Century Fox has released the first clip from X-Men: Apocalypse, and it seemingly reveals a unique twist in the titular villain’s origin story. As Moira MacTaggert explains to Charles Xavier and Alex Summers the new threat they’re facing, she mentions a cult who worship the new foe the team will be facing off against in the movie.
In the comics, Apocalypse is just an ancient mutant, but based on what we’re hearing here and what previous trailers have revealed, it almost seems as if he’s more like a being of pure energy in this world. In fact, it was in the trailers that we saw a normal looking man seemingly being possessed and transformed into En Sabah Nur, so while all the pieces aren’t perfectly fitting together quite yet, it definitely appears as if Bryan Singer is taking a rather unique approach to this iconic character in X-Men: Apocalypse.

An ancient mutant will attack the 1980s in 2016's new X-Men movie, X-Men: Apocalypse. Here's our look ahead...
If the double-bill disappointment of X-Men: The Last Stand and X-Men Origins: Wolverine couldn’t kill the X-Men franchise, nothing can. Now that X-Men: First Class and X-Men: Days Of Future Past have got the series back on track, there’s no stopping Fox’s mutant movies.
Standalone adventures for Deadpool, Gambit and (again) Wolverine are all underway, and there’s even talk of a TV series and slowed-down-a-bit rumours of an X-Force movie.
However, there’s one upcoming X-film that promises a bigger scale, a more dastardly villain and the biggest collection of dodgy haircuts than any of the rest. That film would be X-Men: Apocalypse.
This one’s the next team-based instalment, and it will focus on the recast protagonists introduced in First Class, picking up after their adventure in Days Of Future Past.

The latest Bts image from the set of X-Men: Apocalypse is light on mutants, but we are introduced the Cyclops and Havok's folks. Though Scott and Alex Summers obviously share a surname, it's never actually been confirmed that the two characters were brothers until now. The X-movie timeline is kind of all over the place after so much retconning and semi-rebooting, but since we know Lucas Till is returning as Havok and Tye Sheridan is playing Cyclops, it's safe to assume they've made the latter the younger of the two. It's been a while since I enjoyed a Marvel event, but Rick Remender's Avengers & X-Men: Axis has been fantastic so far. The final issue went on sale today, and the events within have definitely had an impact on the Marvel Universe! You'll obviously have to pick up the issue for the story in full, but below are a handful of scans courtesy of X-Men Supreme. Highlights include Loki wielding Mjolnir to take down Thor, but it was a little later on that some really significant changes took place. While most of the heroes were returned to their heroic or villainous ways, Iron Man cast a force field to protect himself from the spell, and both Havok and Sabretooth were also inadvertently protected by it. That means that Tony Stark is now a villain, as is Alex Summers. Sabretooth meanwhile is behind bars, but it appears as if Marvel are...

Let’s get two things out of the way here: I really liked X-Men: Days of Future Past. And I have complicated feelings about the X-Men movies, but one thing that doesn’t bother me is their screwy internal chronology. I am not a a continuity pedant; the fact that X-Men: First Class directly overrules several parts of X-Men 1 doesn’t lessen my enjoyment of either of them.
So what follows is not meant to nitpick the plot of Future Past. Rather, this is an inquisition, an attempt to seriously understand what the space-time continuum really looks like after it...

The X-Men have been around for more than 50 years. They multiply: rapidly, frequently, endlessly. They aren’t really a superteam like the Justice League or the Avengers, those all-star crews built out of solo-series stars (Superman, Captain America) mixed together with B-list glue characters (Martian Manhunter, Wonder Man). With one very obvious exception and a few other arguable exceptions, the X-Men aren’t Solo-Star people. They are a team.
Or rather, teams. Chris Claremont’s iconic decade-and-a-half run on Uncanny X-Men cemented the idea that the X-lineup was eternally fluid: Characters died, left on sabbatical, joined the Avengers, got replaced...

Yes, there’s another trailer for X-Men: Days of Future Past, the anxiously awaited franchise mash-up which is technically a fourquel, a sequel, an interquel, and a prequel — not to mention the much-discussed possibility among cultural scientists that the film may technically be a requel, since it rewrites the franchise’s own internal history and may cover previously explored ground. (See also: Jj Abrams’ Star Trek, the 1955 scenes of Back to the Future 2, the epilogue of Bourne Supremacy which is also the act-3 kickoff for Bourne Ultimatum.)

He’s part of the sprawling cast of men and mutants for X-Men Days Of Future Past, but Lucas Till is thinking about something more down to earth for a new movie. The man also known as Alex Summers has signed on to star in Sins Of Our Youth.Gary Entin is directing the indie drama, based on a script by his brother Edmund, who worked with him on Geography Club. Sins follows the fallout from a tragedy when four teenagers shooting rifles accidentally kill a younger lad. When the quartet tries to deal with the incident, everything just gets darker and darker.Super 8’s Joel Courtney and teen movie veteran Ally Sheedy are also cast in the film, which should be cranking its cameras in Las Vegas this week.Till, who last appeared in Stoker, has a rash of films lined up awaiting release including tech thriller Paranoia...

Following Lucas Till's portrayal of Havok in 2011's "X-Men: First Class," fans of the big screen franchise have been waiting for the character to share the screen with his brother, Cyclops. Of course that's a bit tricky considering that James Marsden's X-Leader bit the dust—or was turned to dust, rather—in 2006's "X-Men: The Last Stand." In addition to that, the brothers are separated by a few decades, as Havok's films are set a good forty years before Cyclops'.
But with time traveling playing a major part in 2014's "X-Men: Days of Future Past," it seems like anything could be possible, including resurrecting Cyclops and uniting Scott and Alex Summers on the big screen for the first time. James Marsden sure seems aware of this possibility, as he revealed in a recent interview with Vulture.

It's remarkable that Lucas Till first crossed the radar of genre fans when he starred in 2011's Battle: Los Angeles and X-Men: First Class at the mere age of nineteen. But the Texas native hasn't slowed down since. Earlier this year, Till appeared in Park Chan-wook's acclaimed Stoker and this month finds him acting alongside film titans Harrison Ford and Gary Oldman in the techno thriller Paranoia (due out on the 16th). Meanwhile, 2014 will see him return to the role of Alex Summers (a.k.a. Havok, Cyclops' brother) in Bryan Singer's X-Men: Days of Future Past . Till spoke with me yesterday in Beverly Hills about the latter two films. Read what he had to say below. Sneak Peek new images from the Montreal set of director Bryan Singer's "X-Men: Days Of Future Past", revealing a Marvel Comics' superhero mutant that first appeared in "X-Men: First Class".
Actor Lucas Till returns to the "X-Men" movie universe as 'Alex Summers', aka 'Havok' in "X-Men: Days of Future Past".
Debuting in Marvel Comics' "Uncanny X-Men" #54 (March 1969), the character was created by Arnold Drake, Don Heck and Neal Adams.
Havok generates powerful 'plasma blasts', an ability he has had difficulty controlling. He is the son of 'Corsair', the younger brother of the X-Men's 'Cyclops' and the older brother of 'Vulcan'. He often resents Cyclops' authoritative attitude and reputation as a model X-Man.
Havok was also a member of the 1990's-era Pentagon-sponsored mutant team comic book series "X-Factor". After X-Factor disbanded, Havok starred in "Mutant X", a series in which he explored a strange alternate...

• Director Noah Baumbach (Greenberg) knows how to pour lemon juice in the open wounds of aging Gen X-ers. Who better to cast in his film about a pair of middle-aged marrieds yearning for youth than Ad-Rock, or Adam Horovitz, of the Beastie Boys? If cast, Horovitz would play the guy who has grown up, had a kid, and basically moved on with his life, bringing Naomi Watts and Ben Stiller’s still-childless relationship into harsh perspective. Adam Driver and Amanda Seyfried star as the young free spirits who Watts and Stiller befriend. Horovitz is no stranger to acting work, and...

Outside of the story details of the comic book that "X-Men: Days of Future Past" is based on, we know very little about the movie. In fact, it hasn't even been confirmed what role Peter Dinklage will be playing. Spoilers Ahead: But now, NY Mag has uncovered some details, including that Dinklage will playing Bolivar Trask, creator of the Sentinels, and Josh Helman will be a young version of William Stryker, played by Brian Cox in "X2: X-Men United." The magazine also uncovered a few plot details, stating: "Ellen Page returns as Kitty from 'X-Men: The Last Stand,' but this time she uses her powers to send Wolverine (Hugh Jackman) back into the past, where he encounters the younger mutants played by James McAvoy, Jennifer Lawrence, and Michael Fassbender. However, something bad happens to Kitty during the time-travel trance, and while Wolverine is still under her spell,...
