Queens Park Rangers should feel that they’ve made a pleasing start to the season as they sit just underneath the top 10. Although they suffered a 4-0 battering on the first day of the season against a Bolton side who are struggling at the moment under Owen Coyle, they’ve bounced back and have recorded valuable victories over the likes of Chelsea, Wolves and held off in-from Newcastle on home soil a few months ago. But one thing Neil Warnock’s men have been missing lately is goals.
Heidar Helguson has been the only real threat infront of goal for them recently with five goals this season, but with DJ Campbell out injured and Jay Bothroyd not making the fastest of starts to his Rangers career, they do look rather ordinary in the final third. But I’m sure a few January signings will cover that. The London side lost...

After Bolton’s 5-0 redemption victory against Stoke before the international break, confidence may be brewing for the Trotters however West Brom would’ve been glad to see the break approach after suffering two defeats on the bounce before today’s fixture.
The Baggies have had a very mixed bag of results this season. They’ve not had a chance to really get going to gain a good string of results as of yet, with their best run coming in the two Midlands derbies with victories over Aston Villa and Wolves before once again returning to losing ways against Hodgson’s former team Liverpool and an in-form Arsenal.
This fixture is also the first which West Brom will encounter without their assistant coach Michael Appleton, who left to take the managers post at Portsmouth. Hodgson seems fairly blasé about losing part of his backroom staff though, claiming he’s in...

The whole of the UK will be behind the Republic of Ireland tonight as they travel to the Le Coq Arena to take on Estonia in the Euro 2012 play off qualifier knowing that this two legged affair is the best chance they’ve had to qualify for a global tournament in years.
Ireland boss Giovanni Trapattoni, whose job is well and truly on the line if they don’t qualify, has to make the big decision of who will partner Robbie Keane up front with Kevin Doyle being suspended. With Newcastle United striker Leon Best having pulled out of the squad it seems to be down to Stoke’s Jonathan Walters or West Brom’s Simon Cox, but with away goals very much on Ireland’s agenda tonight his selection could prove to be the crucial one.
With John O’Shea injured, Stephen Kelly will fill in as right-back but...

Arsenal head into this clash against their Midlands opponents off a wonderful victory over rivals Chelsea at Stamford Bridge and a solid display against Marseille on home soil in the Champions League midweek. Current Premier League top scorer Robin van Persie will be the dangerman for the Gunners this afternoon as he already has ten goals this season, including a hat-trick against Chelsea last weekend. Arsenal have won eight out of their last nine matches in all competitions and are improving at home. They will be favourties to win this one against the Baggies.
Albion actually picked up a shock result against Arsene Wenger’s side last term as they left The Emirates with a 3-2 victory under their belt. Goals from Peter Odemwingie, Gonzalo Jara and Jerome Thomas, a former Arsenal player, sealed the win for the Throstles. This shows West Brom are no pushovers and can beat the very best on their day.

As we keep hearing over and over from filmmakers struggling to get financing for their projects, the industry has changed beyond recognition, and the old rule book has literally been torn up. As a result, they now need to find new and creative ways to get their films made. Case in point? Simon Cox's decision to offer the opportunity for people to get involved in the making of his new film Kaleidoscope Man by way of a donation.
But before we get into the dollars and cents (or rather, pounds and shillings) of the matter, let's look at Kaleidoscope Man's plot crunch to see if it's something you might be interested in investing in:
Kaleidoscope Man is a moving story about Jack, a doctor at a care centre for people with mental health problems, who wakes to find himself imprisoned in a pod on board an alien spaceship. The...
