Netflix has released the final trailer for the final season of ‘Sex Education,’ inviting viewers to a sneak peek of what’s to come as the series reaches its climax.
Following the closure of Moordale Secondary, Otis and Eric now face a new frontier – their first day at Cavendish Sixth Form College. Otis is nervous about setting up his new clinic, whilst Eric is praying they won’t be losers again. But Cavendish is a culture shock for all the Moordale students – they thought they were progressive but this new college is another level.
There’s daily yoga in the communal garden, a strong sustainability vibe and a group of kids who are popular for being… kind?! Viv is totally thrown by the college’s student-led, non-competitive approach, while Jackson is still struggling to get over Cal. Aimee tries something new by taking an Art A-Level and Adam grapples with...

We’ve come a long way since the start of “Sex Education,” when we were all rooting for (or at least commiserating with) Otis Milburn (Asa Butterfield), the Netflix dramedy’s awkward, anxious and slightly dysfunctional hero. Four years later, we’re saying goodbye to the show’s high school student-turned-amateur sex therapist and his brilliant sex therapist mother, Dr. Jean Milburn (played by the incomparable Gillian Anderson), along with a lengthy cast of characters we’ve all grown to love.
In this final season, we get to see each character develop into the people we’ve wanted them to become. And in a sense, it seems like some end up outshining Otis, making it feel like perhaps he was never really the hero of this story, but rather an entry point into the interwoven lives of the diverse residents of the fictional town of Moordale.

Fluent in therapy-speak and determined to champion inclusivity, the teen characters from Netflix’s Sex Education might, in another series, be the butt of the joke. But the show’s charm has always been its refreshingly unironic celebration of Gen-z’s earnestness. In an unfortunate development, however, the fourth (and final) season tips into cynicism.
Following the closure of Moordale, the ’80s-inspired secondary school where the first three seasons of Sex Education were set, the new season takes place at the student-led Cavendish College, which is an even bigger haven of progressiveness, as evinced by its daily meditation sessions and “gossip free” policy. This is something of a shock for the former Moordale students, particularly Otis (Asa Butterfield), who discovers to his amazement that Cavendish already has its own student sex therapist, O (Thaddea Graham).
Aside from feeling like a cheap shot at wokeism, which is too obvious by Sex Education’s finely balanced standards,...

Netflix has debuted the trailer for the fourth and final season of its hit coming-of-age series “Sex Education,” complete with the tagline, “Get your tissues ready, let’s finish together.”
The British comedy continues to follow the journey of teen sex therapist Otis Millburn (Asa Butterfield) and his friends as they attend a new school with an entirely different culture than they’re accustomed to, while Otis’s love interest Maeve (Emma Mackey) has moved to the United States for college. The eight-episode final season will release on Netflix on Sept. 21, with a supersized, 83-minute series finale.
The first scene of the trailer shows Otis and Maeve adjusting to the distance between them. When Maeve sends Otis a nude photo, Otis is unsure about sending one in return. Other storylines explored in the new season include Otis’ realization that he isn’t the only sex therapist at his new school,...

It’s coming. It’s coming. It’s about to climax. The fourth and final season of the hit Netflix raunchy comedy Sex Education is set to premiere later this month. And as part of the foreplay, Netflix has released a new trailer for the British show that stars Asa Butterfield, Emma Mackey and Gillian Anderson. Set to the tune of Meatloaf’s popular (and meme-able) hit “I Would Do Anything For Love,” the season 4 trailer is light on plot elements and heavy on emotion. The series celebrates its curtain call by cheekily telling fans to “break out the tissues.”
The trailer has been released by Netflix and the official season 4 synopsis reads,
Following the closure of Moordale Secondary, Otis and Eric now face a new frontier – their first day at Cavendish Sixth Form College. Otis is nervous about setting up his new clinic, whilst Eric is praying they won’t be losers again.

Netflix wants fans of its British teen comedy Sex Education to “finish together” in the trailer for the show’s final season.
The two-and-a-half minute first look at the fourth season teases a busy farewell to the series, which helped catapult or bolster the careers of current and former stars, including Emma Mackey, Ncuti Gatwa, Simone Ashley and Asa Butterfield. Set to the Meat Loaf classic “I’d Do Anything for Love (But I Won’t Do That),” the trailer sees Butterfield’s Otis and Mackey’s Maeve grappling with the intricacies — including well-shot nudes — of a long distance relationship as she attends the prestigious U.S. school, Wallace University.
Gatwa’s Eric can also be seen realizing his anxieties over how he and Otis not being losers again may be overblown as he further embraces himself, and encourages other Moordale Secondary classmates to as well. And at home, Gillian Anderson...

The last season of Sex Education has a crowded lesson plan. The series returns to Netflix on Sept. 21 with its teenage and adult characters equally as misdirected in their love lives and sense of purpose. “People are doing all these new things, and I feel like I’m getting left behind,” Otis (Asa Butterfield) admits in the latest full-length trailer for the show’s fourth and final season.

Saying goodbye to Sex Education will not be easy.
Many TV shows stay on the air long past their expiration date, but Sex Education Season 4 looks to be the perfect place to end the Netflix comedy.
In the official trailer for the final season, we see storylines come to dramatic conclusions as everyone reacts differently to the events of the prior season.
Otis and Maeve are trying to make their relationship work long-distance, but distance is not the only thing getting in the way of their love story.
Otis is trying to help is mother, Jean, through a rough patch when she's spiraling because Jakub left town after learning the truth about the father of the baby.

Lock the door, turn the volume up on Marvin Gaye’s “Let’s Get It On,” and lose yourself in the moment because new Sex Education character posters have arrived to lend you a hand and help you relax the old-fashioned way. The fourth and final season of the coming-of-age comedy series hits Netflix on September 21, bringing new characters, embarrassing moments, and closure to extended storylines.
Today’s Sex Education character posters feature primary cast members Asa Butterfield (Otis Milburn), Emma Mackey (Maeve Wiley), Ncuti Gatwa (Eric Effiong), and Gillian Anderson (Jean Milburn) amid ecstasy, or in Maeve’s case, ponderous unsatisfaction? Sex Education always brings plenty of laughs. However, the series also tugs at the heartstrings as characters grow, experience failure, and explore the spectrum of life’s possibilities and preferences in and out of the bedroom.

Netflix’s first teaser trailer for the upcoming fourth season of Sex Education was accompanied by bad news for the show’s fans. Season four will be the show’s final season.
In an interview with Netflix’s Tudum, series creator Laurie Nunn revealed the fourth season jumps forward a few months after the events of the season three finale.
“Maeve is in America, which is where we left her on the bus, going off to study. The Moordale Secondary students are starting at a new school called Cavendish College, which is very different from Moordale. The series will end with Season 4, which is set for September 21, the streamer announced on Wednesday.
In a teaser for the new season, which was also released on Wednesday, Asa Butterfield’s Otis Milburn doesn’t appear to be any more eloquent with his words than he was when he began his journey as a sex therapist at Moordale Secondary.
“Thinking about sex comes very naturally, because I learned everything I know about sex from my mom,” he tells a crowd of college students, much to their horror.

School is out for Emma Mackey now that the actress is leaving Netflix’s Sex Education after four seasons. Mackey confirmed her exit from the coming-of-age comedy series while attending the BAFTA Awards, where she won the Rising Star award for her outstanding performance in the laugh-out-loud drama.

Previously, Mackey said she’d have a minor role in Sex Education season 4, with Maeve traveling to America to live her dream at the prestigious Wallace University, where she’ll be taught by cult author Thomas Molloy (Dan Levy).
“It feels very familiar! And it’s a bit more sporadic because we have more characters. So there’s… I’m not in it as consistently,” Mackey said before filming Season 4. “But we’re...

The upcoming season of Sex Education will be without Rakhee Thakrar. The actress, who played teacher Emily Sands in the Netflix dramedy, confirmed to Daily Star Sunday that she will not be returning for Season 4.
“I’m not part of the new series. I can’t really talk about why,” she told the publication, adding “But I’m so proud of the show and grateful to have been part of something so important. There is nothing bad about Sex Education.”
Deadline has reached out to Netlix for comment.
Thakrar follows the recent exits of Tanya Reynolds, who portrayed Lily since the series’ launch, Patricia Allison (aka Ola) who played Lily’s romantic interest, and Bridgerton‘s Simone Ashley, who announced her departure earlier this year. Thakrar also is an original cast member on the series.
“It’s just the natural progression of these shows,” Reynolds told UK’s Radio Times in an interview last month.

It’s a case of cold-blooded, premeditated nostalgia: Abbott & Costello’s fantasy musical is innocent comedy rooted in early ’50s kiddie entertainment — a vein perfectly suited to the duo’s talents. Lou Costello makes a fine underdog fantasy hero, too. The feature restoration is quite an achievement for the 3-D Archive, as cine-archeology was required to understand the arcane color process ‘SuperCineColor.’ But the show’s slapstick action, clever songs and dippy dancing are finally back and looking great. The labor of love extends to the extras: excised scenes, background material, some words from the only surviving actor, a learned piece on the color process and a surprise guest appearance by the Creature from the Black Lagoon.

Sex Education will be without another key cast member ahead of Season 4.
Tanya Reynolds, who has played Lily since the series launch, won’t be returning to the dramedy for the upcoming season.
“I’m not [returning], actually, which is sad, very sad,” Reynolds told the UK’s Radio Times. “It’s just the natural progression of these shows – when you have such big ensemble casts and so many characters, I think you have to let a few older characters go to make way for newer ones, which is absolutely the right thing, the way it should happen.”
Reynolds follows the recent exit of Patricia Allison (aka Ola) who portrayed Lily’s romantic interest, and Bridgerton‘s Simone Ashley, who announced her departure earlier this year.
Allison revealed her plans last week in an interview with Capital Xtra Breakfast.

Exclusive: George Robinson, the star of Netflix’s Sex Education, is attached to headline the movie Still Life based on the award-winning Texas Monthly 2009 article of the same name written by Skip Hollandsworth.
Still Life tells the true story of John McClamrock, to be played by Robinson, and his mother Ann. The two made a life together within the walls of their small Dallas home after John was paralyzed by an errant tackle on a Dallas high school football field in 1973. John McClamrock’s story garnered worldwide attention and support.
The film will be produced by Jim Whitaker and Jeff Sussman and directed by Samantha Buck and Marie Schlingmann. Scott Brown, Texas Monthly president, Megan Creydt of Texas Monthly, and Kevin James are EPs.
The screenplay, originally by Jon Boyer and rewritten by Buck and Schlingmann, is based closely on the article as well as personal accounts from the McClamrock family.

“Believe it or not,” Dr. Jean Milburn tells an acquaintance during Season Three of Netflix’s high school comedy Sex Education, “I don’t think everything comes back to sex.”
This is an interesting statement from Jean (Gillian Anderson), a therapist specializing in sexual relationships, who is among the most sex-positive characters ever to appear on television. And it’s also notable coming from Sex Education itself, which very much lived up to its title in its marvelous debut season before focusing more on relationship melodrama than matters hormonal in its disappointing second year.

Sex Education returns for Season 3 on September 17, and a lot is changing for the students at Moordale as a new headteacher takes over — but one of the biggest changes is occurring between Otis Milburn (Asa Butterfield) and Ruby Matthews (Mimi Keene). The duo, who wound up in bed together in Season 2, are continuing some semblance of connection in Season 3 since Otis’s love confession to Maeve (Emma Mackey) remains unlistened to after her friend and potential romantic competition Isaac (George Robinson) deleted the voicemail. While viewers get a brief look at Otis and Ruby’s continued bond in the teasers, stars Butterfield and Keene are previewing what fans can expect from the nature of their onscreen connection. (Credit: Netflix) “They bring out parts of each other which we haven’t really seen before,” Butterfield teases. “In Otis’s case, he sort of becomes more confident and has a bit of a spring in his step.

Powerhouse Indicator moves forward to their fourth fancy box of noirs from the studio of Harry Cohn, six pictures stretching from the postwar boom to the end of the original classic noir era. This time around we have some notable directors, and a nice selection of stars — Dennis O’Keefe, George Murphy, Fred MacMurray, Kim Novak, Jean Simmons, Rory Calhoun and Richard Conte. Kim Novak makes her starring debut as a femme fatale; noir icon Richard Conte shines in a movie that marks a turn into a new kind of existential, paranoid thriller. And speaking of paranoid, we again get to lighten up with another selection of theme-appropriate Three Stooges shorts.
