- American first All Girl Rock Band, it's fame led to the creation of other groups, some with the same brand name: The Ladybirds were a UK vocal harmony trio, appearing in over 60 episodes of the TV series "Benny Hill" (1968-1991); The Ladybirds were an almost contemporary Danish topless band that some sources said were Swedish; and The Ladybirds were also a Louisville, USA, garage rock girl band (2015-2017).
- Raymond Floyd was believed to be the band manager, but other sources say he was just an investor.
- The band consisted of Barbara 'Bobbi' Branch (guitar), Marcelle Mitchell (bass guitar), Robin Sherwood (vocals and guitar), Deborah 'Debbie' Dayan (keyboard) and Rosita Quintana (drums).
