“RuPaul’s Drag Race” season 16 continued on April 12 with the fifteenth episode in RuPaul’s quest to find “America’s next drag superstar.” Previously in episode 14, the top four told stories of their own lives memoir style in podcast interviews. Plane Jane and Q found themselves vulnerable as the bottom two and Q was shocked to be sent home instead of marching on to the “Grand Finale” alongside her sisters.
This week, instead of the standard reunion episode, RuPaul Charles invites the eliminated queens back for a “LipSync Lalaparuza Smackdown” where one comes out on top of the tournament $50,000 richer. Seated at the judges’ dais this week to help decide the match-up winners were longtime bestie Michelle Visage and recurring judge Ts Madison.
Check out our full recap of episode 15 below:

Sydney Sweeney has been on a roll since her breakout performance in the hit HBO original series Euphoria and starred in several big blockbusters that are successful like Anyone But You, and regrettable flops like Madame Web. Sydney is more than an actress as she expressed profound interest and knowledge of cars and also gaming.
Being an actress isn’t enough to keep her busy because she also dives into competitive games like the battle royale game Apex Legends. The game was developed by Respawn Entertainment and published by EA and has been among the heavy hitters when it comes to multiplayer games. Sweeney’s outgoing and positive vibes are a perfect match with her favorite Apex Legend.
Mirage Is Sydney Sweeney’s Favorite Apex Legend Apex Legends was released for PlayStation 4, Windows, and Xbox One in February 2019.

“RuPaul’s Drag Race” season 16 continued on January 19 with the third episode in RuPaul’s quest to find “America’s next drag superstar.” In the premiere episodes Part 1 and Part 2, the 14 all new queens were split into two groups of seven to show off their talents and introduce themselves to the judges. Following the “Rate-a-Queen” twist where the queens ranked each other for the week and two lip syncs for the win, Sapphira Cristál and Plane Jane were declared the first two winners of the season and each earned immunity from a future elimination.
This week, all 14 queens met their entire cast together for the first time and then were challenged with a design challenge ahead of their walk in the seasonal fashion ball. When it comes to comics, superheroes are inexplicably linked to monsters. Horror comics existed before the superhero boom launched with Action Comics #1 (1938), and continued going strong after the caped crowd flopped following World War II. When Jack Kirby, Steve Ditko, and Stan Lee launched the Marvel Universe in the early 60s, they did so tentatively, keeping Spider-Man, Hulk, and the Fantastic Four close to the sci-fi and monster comics they made throughout the fifties.
As unlikely as the pairing may seem, superheroes and monsters make for a peanut butter and chocolate combination. Not only do monsters provide the overpowered villains required for superhero fights, as the current Justice League vs. Godzilla vs. Kong demonstrates, but they also give characters like Spider-Man and Batman a chance to show off their heroism in the darkest of times.
So if you’re looking for some spooky superhero stories for your Halloween season, these 13 comics will do the trick.

This post contains spoilers for "The Fall of the House of Usher."
Mike Flanagan's partnership with Netflix has resulted in some of the finest works of horror of the past few decades. Between "The Haunting of Hill House" and "Midnight Mass," we have two masterpieces of horror. Plus, there's "Gerald's Game," one of the best Stephen King adaptations ever. Before that partnership ended, however, Flanagan gave us arguably his angriest and gnarliest work yet in "The Fall of the House of Usher."
The limited series, which is a loose adaptation of Edgar Allan Poe's literary work, follows the titular Usher family, whose patriarch Roderick made a fortune in the pharma industry. Their nightmare begins when Roderick's children start dying. One of those children is Camille L'Espanaye. She is the head of PR at Roderick's pharma empire and a ruthless, sharp-tongued woman with dirt on every member of the family.

I haven’t really enjoyed the recent Assassin’s Creed games (aka the “RPG trilogy” that began with 2017’s Origins). By all accounts from those who do enjoy them, they are fine games that obviously benefited from exceptional production values and a series of eventual gameplay refinements. However, they are also open-world action titles with a ton of things to do and light RPG elements. In other words, they bear a pretty strong resemblance to the basic formula that countless modern Triple-a games follow to varying degrees of effectiveness.
At a time when more and more pieces of major entertainment must be familiar enough to not potentially offend the palates and sensibilities of a massive global audience, “basic” has become the new “bad.” Years worth of too much entertainment that could best be described as “ok” has greatly lowered the value of that description. You start to crave something that breaks...

Memories are powerful, they have the ability to connect us to our pasts whilst evoking a plethora of emotions which we have no control over, so what if there was a way you could access them without limits? Mirage from filmmaker Elizabeth Acevedo explores this very concept through a fantastical drug – Nostalgia. Her debut short film is an exhilarating, visceral study of the role of memory within relationships and the terrifying implications of having unlimited access to our inner worlds. Mirage deploys a heady blend of colours, tones, dissolves and fades which not only reflect the protagonist’s loss to the drug but also play with time in a way reflective of the filmmaker’s deep understanding of memory, addiction and loss. Acevado worked intimately with actors Devon Bostick and Dylan Gelula to build a deep and connected understanding of the characters, thus intensifying the audience’s journey through the film.
