Andrea D'Affronto (Rome, 8 December 2002) is a 16yo musician and composer. Harpist from almost ten years, he grew up following the "Suzuki Method", implemented by Japanese violinist and pedagogue Shinichi Suzuki, in the middle of XX century. His educational philosophy focus on artistic and technical maturity of the child, developing his morality and strengthen his character: for these reasons Andrea, earlier than others developed a relative pitch (which has now become a perfect pitch), a strong sensibility and skills of composing, without needing harmony rules.
Thanks to the musical section of Mazzini School, near Colosseum he started playing piano with teacher Annamaria Paradiso, joining also the Orchestra of the same institute. Now he's performing piano with the pianist and self-taught composer Luigi Laterza and harp with the teacher Augusta Giraldi. He's also a member (from years 2018-2019) of "Juni Orchestra" under Santa Cecilia's Academy. He obtained some prizes and counts his participation to many concourses, masterclasses, workshops, concerts, and a lot of summer camps:
