Earlier today we brought news that Georges St-Pierre had inked a deal with Coca-Cola subsidiary Nos Energy Drinks. Now, The Sacramento Bee has reported that current Ufc light heavyweight champion Jon Jones announced today that he has extended his sponsorship agreement with Everlast.
Matt Cowan, Executive VP, Sales, Marketing & Product Development for the sports apparel company had this to say about re-signing the young champion:
Jon’s dedication and athleticism have transcended the sport and inspired the next generation of fighters… As the sport continues to evolve and expand globally, it is fighters like Jon that inspire the innovation and performance of our products.
Jones had some kind words of his own for his sponsors, stating that:

This series of Superhero Abc's by artist Matt Cowan may not do the gretest job of teaching your kids the entire alphabet (or how to properly write letters for that matter), but with the extra info on these cards your kids will know some basic info about these characters and their real names... once your kids learn how to read that is. Good luck when they don't know what the letter 'E' is. That's kind of an important one.

Here are nerdy images from illustrator Matt Cowan, who reimagines the Star Wars universe as the 8-bit videogames some of us grew up playing, like Pac-Man, Space Invaders and Donkey Kong. You can purchase any of these images on a t-shirt at Red Bubble for $28.14, though we kinda would rather play these as actual video games. Can someone make that happen please? Jubba the Kong is just itching for more exposure. [via DesignTaxi]
