- He was born in Auckland at National Womens Hospital in Greenlane, to Phillip and June. Others in his family include Leilesha, Phillipa, Morgan and Anthony. Tane has a pet dog called Bronx. He attended The Manurewa High School, although he left in 2001 in his sixth form year.
