Earlier this year, it was officially announced that Burt Gummer (Michael Gross) and Travis Welker (Jamie Kennedy) will go up against more Graboids in Tremors 6, and now Gross has revealed the release date for the sequel.
According to Gross' recent Facebook post, Universal Studios is planning to release Tremors 6 on January 30th, 2018 (on Blu-ray, DVD, and Digital HD, as per the previous press release below).
No other updates are known at this time, but we'll keep Daily Dead readers posted on further details as they are revealed. In the meantime, we have the previous press release with the official synopsis and casting info:

Back in September, Michael Gross revealed that Tremors 6 was moving forward with Burt Gummer and Jamie Kennedy's Travis Welker returning to go up against the Graboids. Today, Universal 1440 Entertainment announced that production is officially underway on Tremors 6 in South Africa, with the sequel slated to come out Blu-ray, DVD, and Digital HD in 2018.

Creative England has selected the participants for new producer initiatives aimed at developing industry outside of London.
Creative England has selected the participants for new producer initiatives Producer Hothouse and the Creative Producer Initiative, which are aimed at fostering industry outside of London.
For the Hothouse programme, six film and TV production companies have selected eight producers from outside of London to join them for an intensive six-month placement.
The participants and their placements are:
Irune Gurtubai (Edinburgh) with Altitude Film Entertainment Max Conil (Seaford) with Number 9 FilmsNicola Clayton (Holbrook) and Jack Tarling (Newcastle) with Scott Free FilmsJennifer Monks (Liverpool) with Tigerlily FilmsPeter Fraser (Cambridge) with Trademark FilmsDana Bruce (Manchester) and Lucy Meer (Hull) with Warp Films
The producers receive a bursary award plus an allocation towards relocation expenses, from Creative England or the Scottish Film Talent Network (for Edinburgh-based Gurtubai).

Three of the projects will be greenlit in early 2015, each with a budget of £350,000 ($570,000).
Partners Creative England, the BFI and BBC Films will fully finance, with the BBC pre-buying UK free TV rights. The accompanying professional development programme is supported by Creative Skillset’s Film Skills Fund.

UK low-budget filmmaking scheme iFeatures has selected 18 projects (below) for its next development slate.
The scheme, backed by Creative England, BFI Film Fund, BBC Films and Creative Skillset, selected 18 - instead of the usual 16 - feature-length projects from more than 400 submissions.
Three films will be ‘greenlit’ in March 2015 at budgets of £350,000.
