Blink49 Studios Attaches Kristina Lauren Anderson, Remy Solomon & Natalie Krinsky To Upcoming Dramas
Exclusive: Kristina Lauren Anderson, Remy Solomon and producer Natalie Krinsky are getting in business with Canada’s Blink49 Studios.
Anderson has been attached to write If We Were Villains, the drama series John Morayniss’ Blink49 is co-producing with Sex Education maker Eleven, while Solomon will adapt Marissa Stapley’s novel Things To Do When It’s Raining. Natalie Krinsky has signed a non-writing executive producer deal for the latter.
Anderson will be adapting M.L. Rio’s book, which is billed as a “hauntingly suspenseful novel that follows seven young Shakespearean actors at an elite college where competition is fierce, rivalry is dangerous, and the line between life and art is dangerously thin.” When tragedy strikes in their final year and one dies, the others are forced to prove to the police — and themselves — that they are blameless. "Stranger Things" season 4 was chock full of big moments. We learned about the origin of Eleven's (Millie Bobby Brown) powers, got a powerful performance from Sadie Sink as Max, remembered the majesty that is the music of Kate Bush with the song "Running Up That Hill," and more. On top of all of that, we also got a side plot where it's revealed that Hopper (David Harbour) is alive and in a Russian prison, complete with bruises and an on-camera head shave.
What you saw was not CGI. In fact, there was nothing fake about it at all. Harbour did get his head shaved on camera, and as you probably know, you can only do that once, so you'd better get it right. While it may not have been as dramatic as, say, Natalie Portman getting her head shaved in "V for Vendetta," it was still a dicey proposition...

Stranger Things star Joe Keery has “very convoluted” feelings about his time in Hawkins coming to an end.
During a recent interview with Women’s Wear Daily, conducted before the SAG-AFTRA strike, the actor and musician said, “It does feel like it’s time” but “it won’t be easy for it to end.”
In 2016, Keery debuted his character Steve Harrington in season one of the hit Netflix series, which also stars Millie Bobby Brown, Finn Wolfhard, Gaten Matarazzo and Caleb McLaughlin. Through the first four seasons, his character went from being the bad high school boy to a surprising ally to the main squad as they battle the terrifying world of the Upside Down.
“I owe my whole career to being on that show and all the opportunities that I had since are because of that show,” he added. “So it’s very convoluted. There’s a sense of relief,...

Netflix’s series, The Chosen One is all about a young kid discovering he has divine powers. The deeply religious people of his town soon declared him the next Jesus Christ and sought him out for miraculous solutions. Set in the late 1990s, the show trudges through genres like fantasy fiction and coming-of-age drama with elements of superhero storytelling. We have come across many shows and movies that cover all the above genres and provide a fresh perspective on varied stories. Here is a list of shows and movies that you can watch if you enjoyed watching The Chosen One.
Stranger Things (2016)
This 2016 horror-science-fiction drama changed the course of how stories in this genre came to be approached. Set in the 1980s, a bunch of kids come across a mute girl named Eleven and use her help to find their friend Will, who has been kidnapped by the creatures from Upside Down.

Stranger Things is in the midst of yet another multiple-year hiatus, and with the Writers Guild of America strike still going strong, it looks like we won’t be seeing the conclusion to the Hawkins saga for quite some time. We’ll take any crumbs we can that fall from the Upside Down, and Netflix was kind enough to provide those to fans at their Tudum 2023 event this past weekend. With Arnold Schwarzenegger at the microphone and fans on the edge of their seats for any information on the fifth season, The Terminator actor bellowed to the audience that his former co-star in the famous James Cameron science fiction franchise, Linda Hamilton, would be appearing next season in the Duffer Brothers’ series climactic set of episodes.
There was no further information given about the Sarah Connor actress’ role in the season, but we can assume that it will be more than a small cameo.
