All Rise went there. They covered the most controversial topic -- women's rights about abortion.
While parts of "I Will Not Go Quietly" seemed political, other parts touched my heart.
It was challenging to watch Mia's choices be prosecuted on All Rise Season 3 Episode 17 just because she made the right choice, and Amy and Ness were ideal attorneys for her.
I want to think that the United States has evolved by the 21st century, so we're not chasing young women out of clinics for getting an abortion.
Aiding and abetting. Abortion is a felony. What a world in the 21st century.

I'm still unsure why Mia was being held in a California jail since the abortion occurred in Texas, but luck may have been on her side when she met Amy, Ness,...

Some people say all good things must end, and that is the case for Apple and Skydance Animation, who say they’re parting ways. While this is disappointing news, a silver lining remains. Apple is continuing its partnership with Skydance Media, with plans to work together on live-action film and television projects. The parting comes after the union’s multi-year deal ends. As a parting gift (of sorts), Skydance Animation keeps Spellbound, Vicky Jenson’s animated fantasy epic starring Rachel Zegler, Nicole Kidman, John Lithgow, Nathan Lane, Jenifer Lewis, and Javier Bardem, to name a few.
Skydance Animation is likely to find a new home quickly, perhaps with a studio more interested in producing animated projects instead of epics like Martin Scorsese’s Killers of the Flower Moon. Thankfully, Skydance Media remains in a good place with Apple as new and existing projects like Foundation, The Big Door Prize, and...

The Hoj really acts like a tribe, and All Rise Season 3 Episode 14 showcased that family-like atmosphere at Lola's birthday party.
We haven't had a massive cast scene since Robin and Lola renewed their vows at the end of All Rise Season 2. Celebrations bring people together and show that these friends have become like family.
Lola tried to show that message to feuding Sushi chefs, where the owner was accused of poisoning the sous chef. It was complicated since there was so much affection and respect between the two men. Even when there isn't blood, families are complex.
Robin was on a mission to make Lola's birthday memorable and prove how well he knew his wife. The problem was getting Lola to leave the office.
Poor Mark tried everything, including asking her to stand up at his upcoming wedding.
Mark: I was going to ask if you’d be my best woman.

Jumping Ash (1976) by Leong Po-chih
The realism in the presentation of both the criminal world and the way police worked at the time is also evident, with Leong highlighting the fact that a number of poor people were actually caught between the two. The punishment Callan's girlfriend receives in the hands of two men (despite the fact that one of them gets his share also) and the fate of the blind man, are the most indicatory of that comment. Furthermore, the combination of corruption (even Callan's mother gets a washing machine from a drug dealer at some point) and intense bureaucracy is presented as an obstacle (in Callan's effort) to dispense justice, which was frequently rather hard to overcome. This last aspect is what,...
