GOP Rep. Mike Collins Praises Ole Miss Counter-Protesters Who Taunted Black Pro-Palestinian Activist
Counter-protesters mocked pro-Palestine demonstrators at the University of Mississippi. In footage posted online, white students were caught on video taunting a black protester. Rep. Mike Collins (R-Georgia) praised the white students’ actions.
“Ole Miss taking care of business,” Collins posted on X.
Viewers criticized the white students and Collins’ stance on the situation, calling him out for supporting “racist” actions. In the video, one white student made monkey noises and obscene gestures at a female black graduate student. Police escorted the student while the others taunted her.
University of Mississippi sociology professor James M. Thomas posted to X, “Students were calling for an end to genocide. They were met with racism.”
Separate footage also showed a crowd of about 200 people singing “The Star-Spangled Banner” over pro-Palestine chants. The students called for the end of Israel’s attacks on Gaza and for the United States to stop funding weapons. Some counter-protesters waved Trump 2024 flags.

Two m.o.’s for Sacha Baron Cohen when he is shooting his satirical-political man-on-the-street movies: Don’t get arrested, and don’t have your cover blown.
His sublime brilliance: He’s always prepared, even if it means bringing a lawyer to set.
In a very special Crew Call podcast, the Oscar nominated Borat scribe-actor-producer tells us about his brushes with the law on Bruno, as well as with the Secret Service at the right-wing Cpac conference during the shooting of Borat Subsequent Film. That’s the moment when Baron Cohen busts into the arena dressed as Donald Trump.
“I knew I was going to be surrounded by the Secret Service. I knew that it could be perceived as a threat against the Vice President. I got escorted by close to 15 Secret Service, Capitol Police and event security. My aim was to not give my ID because if word got...

Meet the comedy sequel with more montages than Rocky IV: it's A Bad Moms Christmas...
If you didn’t know going into seeing A Bad Moms Christmas that this was a sequel scrambled together in double-quick time, you could soon figure it out. It’s a hodgepodge of half-formed characters, erratic narrative pace, and parts of story that just about smash together to make something okay. That it does so is no small achievement, but it’s worth stating from the off that the comedy heights of last year’s Bad Moms are rarely troubled.
The idea this time is that the Bad Moms – Mila Kunis, Kristen Bell and Kathryn Hahn – each have their own Bad Moms to put up with. Respectively, they get Christine Baranski, Cheryl Hines and Susan Sarandon. Baranski gets to play the overbearing, everything has to be perfect one. Hines is the clingy, living her life through her daughter mother.
