A handful of familiar faces in the world of indie horror have joined forces for the upcoming Bunker Heights, a genre-bending film that’s currently in the post-production stage.
“Bunker Heights is a genre-bending farce that delves into the complexities of a troubled city facing a catastrophic crisis,” an official statement previews. “Blending elements of crime, horror, and dark comedy, the film offers a gripping narrative that follows the lives of its citizens as they navigate the looming threat that jeopardizes their very existence.”

Written and directed by Drew Fortier under the production of Hannah Fierman, the film boasts special effects crafted by Deryk Wehrley, alongside cinematography courtesy of Gordon Cameron (Her Name Was Christa).

There's no secret that the last season of "The Celebrity Apprentice" — which saw Bret Michaels score the victory over a truly excellent field — was one of the most fun shows on television. Kid Rock, the Raconteurs and George Clinton were among the big winners at the 18th Annual Detroit Music Awards, held Friday night at Michigan's Fillmore Detroit. The highlight of the show was the reunion of Ted Nugent with the original members of the Amboy Dukes after 40 years.
The reunited artists, who performed at the Fillmore Detroit event, also received a Distinguished Achievement Award. The Raconteurs received Outstanding Major Label Album for 2008's "Consolers of the Lonely," while Rock's 2008 hit "All Summer Long" was named Outstanding National Single, Contactmusic.com reports.
Funk singer Clinton's package "George Clinton and the Gangsters of Love" bagged Outstanding National Small/Independent Label Recording, while "Motown: The Complete No. 1's" box set was the winner in the Outstanding Anthology/Compilation/Reissue category.
