- Is most famous for "The Catch" in the 1982 NFC Playoffs. With the San Francisco 49ers trailing 27-21 to the Cowboys in the waning moments, Clark caught a 20 yard-pass from quarterback Joe Montana near the back of the end zone to give the 49ers a 28-27 victory. The 49ers went on the win the Super Bowl that year. That play would signify the beginning of the 49ers championship dynasty in which they won five Super Bowls in the late 80s and early 90s.
