Cher and her boyfriend Alexander “Ae” Edwards celebrated something special when they attended the Givenchy show during Paris Fashion Week on Thursday (September 28) – the anniversary of when they first met!
The Hollywood couple was first linked in November 2022 after romantic photos went viral. However, while on the red carpet at the event, Cher told Wwd that Paris Fashion Week was a special time for them.
“I met my boyfriend here last year, so it’s our anniversary. And so I’m pretty excited,” she explained. As for how they’re celebrating, it sounds like nothing was set in stone just yet: “I don’t know what we’re gonna do. Everything we do is special.”
One year after their first meeting, Cher and Ae looked cool at the event. She wore a black jacket over a white shirt, and he matched in monochromatic black. The duo also both had platinum blonde hair!

Two Watsons are better than one. On Sept. 7, Emma Watson made a rare red carpet appearance with her brother, Alex Watson, stepping out for the second annual Soho House Awards in New York City. The two arrived at Dumbo house with Emma in a plunging knit Christian Dior dress, and Alex in a classic navy suit. Per the Soho House website, the awards serve "as a platform for everyone to be celebrated and championed equally for their work," with former honorees including John Boyega, Evan Mock, and Yasmin Finney.
Beyond their familial ties, the siblings also double as business partners, recently launching their own luxury gin company, Renais, as a way to honor their background in winemaking. "I'm having a proud sister moment," Emma wrote after breaking the news with Alex on Instagram. The pair also attended Wimbledon together in July (in matching outfits no less), marking one of their...

Los Angeles, May 3 (Ians) Reality TV star and makeup mogul Kylie Jenner was all ready to join other stars at the Met Gala after-party in New York City.
She arrived in a stunning black-and-white dress in the wee hours on Tuesday, May 2, but unfortunately, she couldn’t enter the bash, which was hosted by Richie Akiva, Doja Cat and Sean ‘P. Diddy’ Combs.
“They wouldn’t let her in,” said a witness to Page Six, reports aceshowbiz.com.
“They shut the door down because it was over capacity.”
Another source claims that ‘The Kardashians’ star arrived after midnight to meet up with her sister Kendall Jenner and Bad Bunny who were already inside.

Fashion’s biggest night is always one to remember.
Celebrities descend upon The Met steps every first Monday in May to bring their fashion A-game for a different theme each year. Sometimes, in an effort to be memorable, stars will go above and beyond for their outfits, at times resulting in the year’s most outrageous looks.
This year, the Met Gala theme honors the late Karl Lagerfeld, who died in 2019. The dress code simply reads “In honor of Karl,” leaving it mostly up for interpretation for the celebrities attending — and their stylists. The Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute curator Andrew Bolton says he hopes guests will celebrate “the spirit of Karl, and hopefully, everyone will come out in vintage Chanel, vintage Fendi, vintage Chloé.”
Vogue‘s Anna Wintour will steer the event, alongside Michaela Coel, Penélope Cruz, Roger Federer and Dua Lipa, who all serve as her Met Gala co-chairs.

The first three episodes feature podcaster and actress Busy Philipps; “Gossip Girl” star and skateboarder Evan Mock; and “Top Chef” alumni and restaurateur Kwame Onwuachi
TV commercials “serve a very specific purpose, mostly to remind people that we are there and we exist,” says Hector Muelas, Expedia Group’s senior vice president of global creative, in an interview. Exclusive: Chase Stokes (Outer Banks) and Sydney Taylor (American Born Chinese) are set to topline the YA romance Marked Men from director Nick Cassavetes (The Notebook).
The film written by Sharon Soboil (After We Fell) is based on the New York Times and USA Today bestselling novel Rule by Jay Crownover — the first in her hit series Marked Men, which has been translated into 11 languages. It’s being sold worldwide by Voltage Pictures, which is currently placing it before buyers.
Taylor stars as Shaw Landon, who has loved Rule Archer (Stokes) from the moment she laid eyes on him. Rule, a fiery-tempered rebel tattoo artist, doesn’t have time for a good girl pre-med student like Shaw – even if she’s the only one who can see the person he truly is. She lives by other people’s rules; he makes his own. But a short skirt, too many birthday cocktails,...

The new incarnation of Gossip Girl has been cancelled by HBO Max and will conclude this week. Series creator Josh Safran was saddened by the news, but not surprised. He suspected a cancellation was coming because of how expensive Gossip Girl is ("It takes a lot of money to look this good.") and because numerous HBO Max shows have been cancelled recently.
Starring Jordan Alexander, Eli Brown, Thomas Doherty, Tavi Gevinson, Emily Alyn Lind, Evan Mock, Zion Moreno, Whitney Peak, and Savannah Lee Smith, the sequel series follows a new group of private school teens living on the Upper East Side. The original version of Gossip Girl aired for six seasons on The CW before concluding in 2012.

NYC’s messiest Instagram account is typing its “XOXOs” for the last time. “Gossip Girl,” the HBO Max series and sequel to the CW hit of the same name, has been canceled, the streamer announced Thursday. The news comes in the middle of the show’s Season 2 run, which began on December 1 and will conclude January 26.
In a tweet Thursday, showrunner and executive producer Joshua Safran stated he intends to shop “Gossip Girl” to other outlets.
“We are currently looking for another home, but in this climate, that might prove an uphill battle, and so if this is the end, at least we went out on the highest of highs,” Safran wrote in his tweet.

Hey, Upper Eastsiders: HBO Max’s “Gossip Girl” has been canceled, and its series finale will drop on the streamer Jan. 26.
Season 1 premiered in July of 2021, and though it received a critics’ score of 38 on Rotten Tomatoes, Variety‘s Caroline Framke praised it, writing the show “does immediately address one issue that plagued the previous ‘Gossip Girl’ by flipping it on its head in a way that energizes the new one. This time, there will be no guessing games as to who Gossip Girl might be — at least not for the audience.” Season 2 jumped higher on Rotten Tomatoes, but based on fewer reviews.

[The following story includes spoilers from season two of HBO Max’s Gossip Girl.]
Thomas Doherty isn’t interested in what critics have to say about HBO Max’s Gossip Girl remake.

HBO Max's "Gossip Girl" has been exploring all sorts of new plots in the modern-day reboot, but one of the most refreshing storylines has been the budding polyamorous relationship between Audrey (Emily Alyn Lind), Aki (Evan Mock), and Max (Thomas Doherty).
In season one, viewers met Audrey and Aki as a longtime couple and later witnessed the latter's struggle to understand his bisexuality, though he's come to embrace it by exploring his and Audrey's newfound connection with their partner Max (who has a reputation in the Upper East Side for being a promiscuous pansexual). The trio finally made things official in "Gossip Girl"'s season one finale; however, the first few episodes of season two largely focus on the ups and downs of their relationship, as Audrey and Aki grapple with embracing it publicly.
"I think that it's cool the way that we do it because a lot of times on screen,...

Spotted: there's a new "Gossip Girl" queen bee on the rise, and she's wasting no time kicking off her hostile takeover. After an explosive season one finale, HBO Max's "Gossip Girl" returned with more chaotic drama on Dec. 1, and this time around, Julien (Jordan Alexander) isn't the one running things over at Constance. In season two, she has a hard time holding onto her influence with her sidekick turned enemy Monet (Savannah Lee Smith) gunning for her No. 1 spot.
"We kind of wanted the cold hard b*tch that would not stop at anything to get to the top."
The last season of "Gossip Girl" attempted to redefine the infamous high school mean girl trope with some overly vindictive ploys orchestrated by Julien's minions Monet and Luna (Zión Moreno), but one of them has upgraded to a more sinister role in season two. With Luna and Julien on the...

Hey, Upper East Siders, Gossip Girl is back and she’s meaner than ever.
Ahead of the season two premiere of HBO Max’s Gossip Girl reboot, creator Joshua Safran and stars Grace Duah, Savannah Lee Smith, Emily Alyn Lind, Evan Mock and Eli Brown stopped by NYC’s Prospect Park Nitehawk Cinema on Wednesday for an advance screening of the first episode and a Q&a.
During the conversation, the team opened up about what viewers can expect to see in season two, and Duah, who plays fan-favorite character Shan, didn’t hold back.
“This season is bigger, badder, but it’s mean,” she said. “I think that’s why you guys are in your seats, I think that’s why millions of people are in their seats at home. They want to see people be mean. And you’re gonna see that,...

Outside of the delicious drama our favorite Upper East Siders deal with daily, what makes the "Gossip Girl" reboot great is the chemistry between the cast. It's easy to believe that Julien, Audrey, Monet, Luna, Max, Aki, and Obie are in fact longtime friends because their respective actors - Jordan Alexander, Emily Alyn Lind, Savannah Lee Smith, Zion Moreno, Thomas Doherty, Evan Mock, and Eli Brown - are also friends in real life. Even the addition of Whitney Peak's Zoya to the characters' group of friends feels genuine because of her magnetic connection with them.
Friendships and relationships (both old and new) are a big part of "Gossip Girl"'s dramatic second season, which kicked off on Dec. 1 - just take it from the cast. "Everything is a lot more intense this season, and we're kind of getting to see different sides and different stories from everybody," Peak tells Popsugar.

Haven't you heard? "Gossip Girl" is back for another chaotic season on HBO Max, and we've got all the deets.
The first season ends with a disastrous New Year's Eve celebration that leaves Julien (Jordan Alexander) cleaning up a major mess with her ex Obie (Eli Brown) and sister Zoya (Whitney Peak). Not to mention, the will-they-won't-they throuple with Aki (Evan Mock), Audrey (Emily Alyn Lind), and Max (Thomas Doherty) finally get the green light (though it surely won't be smooth sailing for them). The biggest surprise of them all, however - aside from Gossip Girl teaming up with Julien to expose everyone's dirty little secrets - is Monet (Savannah Lee Smith) gunning for the queen bee title now that Julien has turned over a new leaf, but there are plenty more shocking reveals ahead in season two, so buckle up for the ride.

Spoiler Alert: This post contains plot details from the first two episodes of Gossip Girl Season 2.
Attention Upper East Siders: Gossip Girl is back, and she has some unfinished business.
Season 2 of the HBO Max series debuted Thursday with two episodes, which ease viewers nicely back into the drama at Constance Billard. Now that we’ve had some time to acquaint ourselves with this new cast of super rich kids and their secrets, Season 2 will show us “the kids became this way for a reason,” creator and executive producer Joshua Safran told Deadline.
“Essentially what would happen in the first Gossip Girl was the first half of the season would be, ‘These kids are disasters and they’re destroying each other.’ And in the second half of every season, we know the reason is because of their parents,” Safran said, explaining that the two-season story arc is mirrored after one,...

A new season of Gossip Girl (whether you’re talking the original CW series or the HBO Max reboot) means, of course, more drama. From what’s going on with the throuple to who’s trying to keep from falling back into that world (and will ultimately fail) to who just wants all of that drama to be done, TV Insider got the scoop from the cast on Season 2, which has now premiered on the streaming service. At the end of Season 1 and heading into these new episodes, Audrey (Emily Alyn Lind), Aki (Evan Mock), and Max (Thomas Doherty) are giving being a throuple a try. For Audrey, “who’s very type A and wants everything to be in place — but that’s never going to happen with these two — I think she on purpose follows her heart and is attracted to them because of the things she’s missing out in herself,...

You know you love Georgina Sparks.
Michelle Trachtenberg is back as iconic villain Georgina in Season 2 of HBO Max’s “Gossip Girl” revival series. The new Gg, Kate (Tavi Gevinson), comes face to face with Og baddie Georgina after she sneaks into her apartment for a moment of reckoning. As Amy Winehouse’s “You Know I’m No Good” plays in the background, it’s clear Season 2 will be a battle to the social death.
The role marks Trachtenberg’s return to acting after four years, following her voice-acting turn in TV series “Human Kind Of.” Her last on-camera role was in 2016 TV movie “Sister Cities.” Trachtenberg formerly played Georgina a decade ago, with her final “Gossip Girl” appearance in 2012. Gossip Girl Season 2 looks like the show we were promised ahead of its debut last year.
HBO Max dropped the official trailer on Thursday, and it looks more scandalous than ever.
The original series was known for its Omg-worthy moments, and if the trailer is any indication, there'll be plenty to go around in the second season.
“It’s the second semester of junior year and Gossip Girl is leaving no stone unturned in her effort to control the scandalous lives or spin the scandalous lies of Manhattan’s elite,” the official logline reads.
“She’s learned a thing or two from her first go-around — namely what her audience wants, they shall get."
"It’s time for her to turn the heat up on what’s been simmering as well as look at her own impact and how she can make it more catastrophic than it was before. Even if...

HBO Max’s Gossip Girl season two is welcoming back original cast member Michelle Trachtenberg, reprising her role as Georgina Sparks. And the first three official photos from the upcoming second season even includes one showing Michelle as Georgina!
In an interview with Teen Vogue, showrunner Joshua Safran explained what Trachtenberg’s Georgina will add to the mix.
“What she brought to the original series was anarchy,” stated Safron. “She’s an anarchist. She’ll just do anything and just for any reason she decides. So we brought that energy to the first show, and then we brought that energy back to this one. She’s the same, and that’s what I think is so fun, that Michelle is older, we’re all older, Georgina is older yet has the exact same energy. She’s out of time.

The second season of HBO Max's reboot of Gossip Girl has been in production for a while now, and the latest tease hints at a big comeback.
The social media accounts for the series shared a video of a brunette woman sitting in an empty theater, clearly enjoying what is happening on stage.
“It only takes one spark to start a fire,” the video teases.
In the caption, the message continues: “And I have a feeling that this city is about to burn.”
The video quality is not great, which is probably intentional to keep fans guessing the mystery person's identity.

Given the "spark" and the fact that this person is going to upend the lives of the Upper East Siders, it certainly sounds like Georgina Sparks is coming back into the fold.
