That hiatus was way too long!
Thankfully, we were rewarded for our patience with lots of laughs, heartwarming moments, and Winn's first time in the field!
Seriously, I was feeling as giddy as Alex all throughout Supergirl Season 2 Episode 9. How about you?
I can't get enough of happy Alex.
Even in all black, you can tell she's glowing. Alex and Maggie couldn't be more adorable together.
It's Alex's first real relationship though, and she came very close to blowing it already. It's hard to blame her since she was in panic mode over Kara, but she was harsh towards Maggie.
After that scene, I was definitely thinking, "if Maggie doesn't already know, Alex is going to have to tell her."
But, Maggie is a detective, and a really good one. Besides, we've all been saying from the beginning that glasses aren't much of a disguise. Good to know Alex agrees.

The midseason finale of Supergirl left us with a lot of unanswered questions, including what exactly Mon-El is up to. While he’s claimed to be the servant to the Prince of Daxam, many fans believe that he’s actually a member of the now destroyed planet’s royal family, hence why aliens are heading to Earth to track him down.
In a recent interview, Supergirl executive producer Ali Adler promised that we’re going to get some “definitive answers” in regards to what Mon-El is hiding and why exactly he’s claiming not to remember “that almost unsatisfying kiss” he shared with Kara Danvers. What that means for her chances of romance remains to be seen, but Adler adds:
“We’ll explore more of that relationship. Kara still has to figure out how she feels about him.”
It’s not going to be all smooth sailing for Alex Danvers and Maggie Sawyer either,...

1.11 Strange Visitor From Another Planet
As with most Berlanti projects on the air right now, Supergirl has predominantly been about family in its first season. This week, we take a break from analysing what Kara's biological and adoptive family means to her and her destiny, and instead focus on two of the guys on the show. First, we learn more about the tragic backstory of the Martian Manhunter and, second, it's time for Cat Grant's long-lost son to arrive on the scene.
After hearing about Cat's regret regarding her son and witnessing her repeatedly try and fail to reach out to him, Kara decides that the most helpful thing to do is to finish one of the letters Cat theoretically intended to...
