The Manny, Netflix's latest comedy series, features actor Iván Amozurrutia as Gabriel, the series' titular cowboy-turned-babysitter.
The series, which has been climbing the streaming charts since its December 24 debut, follows the romance between Sandra Echeverría's Jimena, a high-ranking business executive and single mother of three, and Iván Amozurrutia's Gabriel, a rancher who happens to be great with kids.
While Iván Amozurrutia may be gaining attention for his role as The Manny's cowboy caretaker, this Netflix series is far from the actor's first rodeo.

“Dora and the Lost City of Gold” and “I Carry You With Me” are among this year’s Imagen Awards nominees, which span a range of new categories including best director in television, best music composition for film and television and best music supervision for film and television.
The Imagen Foundation president Helen Hernandez announced 114 nominees across 20 categories for the 35th annual Imagen Awards.
“This year’s list of nominees is a far cry from four honorees 35 years ago,” Hernandez said in a statement. “The level of creativity and talent in our community is bountiful and is exemplified in this year’s list. The judges were challenged with the overwhelming increase of quality submissions for consideration. It’s clear that we are making some strides, but have a way to go to achieve significant equity and inclusion in the industry. Until then, Imagen is committed to be the means to...

Underneath the veneer of a frivolous romantic comedy, “Las Pildoras de Mi Novio” (“My Boyfriend’s Meds”) packs a surprisingly potent message about the importance of talking about mental health issues with loved ones. Although to get to this useful kernel, the audience must first sit through some truly cringe-worthy scenes that not even Jaime Camil’s charm can smooth over.
It’s a message that goes down fairly heavy-handedly, but it’s possible that the movie could still move someone to be more open about what they’re going through. It’s also just as possible that the movie could leave viewers on a sour note from its bottom-shelf laughs and cheap gags.
Directed by Diego Kaplan, “Las Pildoras de Mi Novio” follows Jess (Sandra Echeverría), an ambitious marketing executive with a shot at a promotion if she figures out her tequila company’s new ad campaign on a staff retreat.

"I know of a shaman who works in the kitchen." Pantelion Films + Lionsgate have debuted the first official trailer for a comedy movie titled My Boyfriend's Meds, officially known as Las Pildoras de mi Novio in Spanish (which just translates to My Boyfriend's Meds). This wacky comedy is about a woman who meets the man of her dreams, then suddenly asks him to join her on a work retreat to a remote island resort. But he forgets his prescription medications and goes just a little bit crazy once they're there. Ahh, the things we put up with for love. Sandra Echeverría stars with Jaime Camil, Ana Belena, Brian Baumgartner, Kevin Holt, Daniel Tovar, Pamela Almaza, Juan Soler, James Maslow, and Brooke Shields. This film looks totally, outrageously crazy in a very fake way, and maybe just a tiny bit funny. Decide for yourself. Here's the first official trailer for Diego Kaplan's My Boyfriend's Meds,...

New York -- Jennifer Garner tries not to look at reviews of the outfits she wears because, inevitably, someone isn't going to like it.
"It's not good for my self-esteem," she said Wednesday while in New York to open the Neutrogena Sun Summit.
The exception was after the Oscars last month. Garner's violet-colored, custom-made Gucci gown was a winner – but that wasn't what she was looking for after husband Ben Affleck's film "Argo" won best picture. "I reveled in all those good pictures of him," she said.
Garner, a Neutrogena spokeswoman, practices what she preaches when it comes to sun safety. Her children make sure of it.
In her household, sunscreen is like seat belts: non-negotiable. Garner said while she was away Wednesday, the kids surely would remind their dad if he dropped them at school without their daily slathering.
"I think I once told my kids it was...

In the world of By Day By Night the inhabitants of a vast domed city are separated into two divisions: day people who work during daylight hours and sleep and night, and the night people who inhabit the same living quarters for sleep during the day and work the same jobs at night. It seems that space is so limited in the future, and the outside world apparently so hostile, that society has had to live this way for decades. A child is discovered by the night people, apparently comatose and with no record of where it came from. Meanwhile a day person, a woman called Aurora, desperately seeks news of her daughter who was selected for "leadership training" but cannot get a straight answer out of the leaders themselves...

A hardworking actor dedicated not only to his hordes of screaming fans but also to the quality of his work. In his new movie Free Style, Corbin throws himself into the role of Cale Bryant, a young man struggling to find his way in the world. The film is honest, not glamorized, and gets right down to the issues that many face. Cale returns to a broken home and where he quickly needs to step into the father role while trying to pursue his passion for motorcross. Through a series of incidents, Cale learns the value of family and the significance of hard work in this adventurous, fast-paced, exiting film.
