Yanya’s 2024 tour dates follow the release of “Like I Say (I runaway),” her first piece of new music since her 2022 album Painless. The new stretch of dates begin with a North American leg kicking off on September 28th in Philadelphia. She’ll continue with shows in Washington D.C., Brooklyn, Toronto, Chicago, Nashville, Atlanta, Vancouver, San Francisco, and more. The North American leg ends with a date in Los Angeles on October 24th.

Yanya will then make her way back to Europe for a short run of dates kicking off in Brussels on November 24th. Organizers of the music festival South by Southwest, which takes place annually in Austin, sparred with Texas Governor Greg Abbott on social media Tuesday. After the governor criticized bands that had pulled out of the festival over objections to the U.S. Army sponsoring it, writing “Don’t come back,” the festival’s official X, formerly Twitter, account responded, “SXSW does not agree with Governor Abbott.” The music component of the festival started on Monday and will run through Saturday.
