MSNBC host Lawrence O’Donnell replied after former president Donald Trump said he “looks like s—” in a Truth Social post. During the former president’s hush money trial, Trump mocked O’Donnell’s appearance in the Manhattan court.
“I spotted Ratings Challenged Lawrence O’Donnell, of Msdnc, in the Courthouse today,” Trump wrote on Truth Social. “I haven’t seen him in years. He looks like s—, a real loser!”
O’Donnell later replied to it in an X post.
“Trump posted this right after my show tonight,” he stated about the Truth Social post. “Must’ve been something I said.”
He also placed an image of the former president’s post in his post.
Last week, the MSNBC host said on his show The Last Word With Lawrence O’Donnell that he had been in the Manhattan court and that Trump noticed him and had “glared” at him.

Will Smith is one of the biggest stars in the world and gained worldwide fame as he starred in multiple blockbusters in the late ‘90s. The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air star had his breakthrough with the films Six Degrees of Separation and Independence Day. However, he became a worldwide star when he starred as Agent J in the Men in Black franchise.
Smith starred along with Tommy Lee Jones in the films which were produced by Steven Spielberg and were based on the popular comic book series. Despite the original comic books showing Smith’s Agent J as a White, blonde man, filmmaker Barry Sonnenfeld was convinced by his wife to race-swap and cast Will Smith in the film.

The delightful Colin From Accounts is back for season 2, and the first trailer has landed. It’s right here, in fact.
Colin From Accounts was one of the most wonderful surprises of 2022. Written by and starring real life husband and wife Harriet Dyer and Patrick Brammall, the warm hearted Australian sitcom follows the story of Gordon and Ashley, who meet when she flashes him while she’s crossing the street, causing him to lose concentration and run over a dog.
Deciding to care for him rather than have him put down, the two gradually get to know and, eventually, like each other while looking after the dog they call Colin From Accounts.
The synopsis for series 2 reads as follows:
After Gordon (Brammall) and Ashley (Dyer) are brought together in season one by a spontaneous nipple flash and the subsequent accident that injured the titular (no pun intended) dog, season two...

The chants and shouts of pro-Palestinian demonstrators disrupted the entry to the Washington Hilton for this year’s White House Correspondents’ Association dinner, but once inside, attendees were greeted with what has become the usual scene: Celebrities on the red carpet, a crush for the security line and glitterati packed into a cavernous ballroom.
“I want to thank my wife for enduring lots of jokes and for agreeing to individually meet everyone in this room right after the ceremony,” the evening’s featured entertainer, Colin Jost, quipped about Scarlett Johansson, who posed for photos with a non-stop stream of attendees. She continued to do so later in the evening, at the Comcast-nbcu after party at the French ambassador’s residence.

As this year’s president of the White House Correspondents’ Association, NBC News senior White House Kelly O’Donnell will preside over one of the biggest evenings in D.C. — a mix of politicos, media types and celebrities airing live across C-span and other networks.
But the issues that a Whca president routinely deals with range from the weighty, like pushing for media access to the president and promoting the role of journalists in a free society; to the less earth-shaking but still important, like coping with plumbing issues in the tight confines of the press area of the West Wing.
O’Donnell on Thursday marked 30 years with NBC News, a tenure that has included covering four presidential administrations, seven election cycles and numerous major events, including embedding with troops in Iraq.

Actor Brent Spiner's most visible acting role was probably Data, the android lieutenant commander on "Star Trek: The Next Generation." As Data, Spiner appeared in 176 episodes of "Next Generation," in the four spin-off movies, and in five episodes of "Star Trek: Picard." He also appeared on "Picard" as a new amalgam android character, as well as multiple members of the Soong family throughout various "Star Trek" shows. For an actor who was initially cast as an emotionless being, Spiner certainly played some of the franchise's more dramatic characters.
Spiner has always expressed a little ambivalence toward Data. While he certainly appreciates the money and fame brought to him by the role, Spiner felt that "Star Trek" might have robbed him of the ability to play a wide variety of parts. He feared casting agents would look at him and be unable to look past his "Star Trek" android.

Actor and stand-up comedian Marlon Wayans is known for his sitcom, The Wayans Bros. and films like Little Man and White Chicks. The actor is also known for his appearances in the Scary Movie franchise. While known mostly for his comedic roles, the actor also tried his hand at drama with Darren Aronofsky’s harrowing drama, Requiem for a Dream.

The dark sequel to 1989’s Batman initially planned to introduce Robin to the franchise, and Wayans would have a larger role in the threequel. Saturday Night Live Weekend Update co-anchor Colin Jost will be the featured entertainer at this year’s White House Correspondents’ Association dinner.
The event will be held on April 27.
Kelly O’Donnell, president of the Whca and NBC News senior White House correspondent, said in a statement, “Colin Jost knows how to make Saturday nights funny, and I am thrilled Colin will be live from the nation’s capital as the headline entertainer for this year’s White House Correspondents’ Dinner.” Each year’s Whca president is tasked with picking the entertainer.
The gig, in a room full of journalists, political insiders and typically the president of the United States, is high profile but also endlessly scrutinized. By tradition, the entertainer also follows Potus on the programming lineup, something that typically places extra pressure to use fresh material.

Actor turned director Keir O’Donnell’s first feature behind the camera is a primary coloured effort with some smart plot twists
Although largely comic in tone, this frothy thriller is obviously modelled on classic films noir, with their tales of betrayal and cunning, gullible heroes tricked into crime by femmes fatales, and the ever-present backbeat of quiet economic desperation. But Keir O’Donnell, a character actor making his writing-directing debut, has juiced up the formula with a palette of poppy primary colours and bright stabs of pink, and an ironic, self-mocking tone. That should help this slip down easy with new-generation viewers who may never have seen such classics as The Postman Always Rings Twice or Double Indemnity, let alone later remakes or homages like Body Heat or Blue Velvet.
It also helps that O’Donnell has cast Gen-z-star-on-the-rise Joe Keery (Steve from Stranger Things) as protagonist Baron, a guileless poor...

Corrupt bureaucracy, depraved cops, greedy business tycoons, and degenerate celebs are as recurrent in Reacher’s lore as one would generally expect from crime thrillers and mostly serve to set up conflicts or act as catalysts in the flow of the narrative. Among these varied dregs of society, crooked politicians seem to have a knack of getting in Reacher’s way more often. Perhaps Reacher’s anti-authoritarian stance acts as a magnet to draw out the rot in the system, which was highlighted in the first season with Mayor Teale of Margrave, whose partnership with the shrewd business magnate Kliner drained the suburb from within. In the second season, matching the higher stakes of the narrative, Reacher faces another hurdle in the form of Senator Malcolm Levoy. Initially an accessory in Reacher’s investigation, Levoy’s involvement with the central crisis of the Littlewing conspiracy runs deep and continues until the very end.

This post contains spoilers for Season 2 of "Reacher."
The penultimate episode of "Reacher" season 2 ends on a cliffhanger, where Jack Reacher (Alan Ritchson) makes an impossible choice: he walks straight into the lion's den to save his dear friends. Things haven't been rosy for Reacher and his pals since the new season's inception, as the catalyst for the group banding together was the death of their mutual friend, Calvin Franz (Luke Bilyk), who served alongside them in the 110th Special Investigations Unit.
At the end of season 1, we see Reacher leaving Margrave to continue his wandering lifestyle, but the nature of this new case forces him to contend with his self-inflicted loneliness and tendency to keep people at bay. With his friends' lives on the line, Reacher must completely embrace his maverick spirit and throw a comically evil dude out of a helicopter to avenge his dead friends. And in typical Reacher fashion,...

While there is no shortage of loner do-gooders in the action thriller genre, something with which we can all agree on is the fact that having the assistance of a sidekick or partner increases the appeal of such narratives. In Jack Reacher’s case, the snarky, sharp, quick-witted Pi Frances Neagley fits the bill, and if her increased role in the second season is any indication, the reception of her character among the viewers of Amazon Prime’s Reacher is wildly positive. As a former colleague of Jack Reacher in the military police and a vital member of his 110th unit of special investigators, Neagley’s presence in Reacher’s life has gradually moved beyond professional boundaries and she’s become the closest thing the wandering nomad can regard as family.

Laying all the cards on the table before a showdown proves detrimental without exception, irrespective of the context of discussion, and as we approach the finale of the second season of Amazon Prime’s Reacher, we are reminded of the fact once again. So far, the season had built momentum for the inevitable confrontation between Reacher and his current adversaries, represented by the calculative, methodical A.M. and the brutal, despicable Langston, but it was delayed too much, and unsurprisingly, a rushed ending couldn’t pack that strong a punch.
In this season so far, Reacher’s past life in the army became the fulcrum of the narrative as members and friends of his former special investigation unit started getting hunted down by Shane Langston, the chief of security of the aerospace company New Age Tech. 110th unit special investigators, Franz, Sanchez, and Orozco, were brutally tortured and killed by Langston,...

XYZ Films has just scooped up the US distribution rights for ‘Skyline: Warpath.’ This sci-fi action film, packed with martial arts, is a fresh creation from Liam O’Donnell, known for his work on ‘Beyond Skyline.’ The film shines with stars like Iko Uwais from ‘The Raid’ and Scott Adkins of ‘Undisputed’ fame. Joining them are Louis Mandylor, Randall J. Bacon, and Yayan Ruhain.
‘Skyline: Warpath’ is set in the same universe as O’Donnell’s previous work and takes place five years after ‘Beyond Skyline.’ The story revolves around Sua, played by Iko Uwais, leading a resistance against alien invaders. Things heat up with the discovery of the Radial Gauntlet, an alien artifact. Sua faces challenges from the corrupt Eric, portrayed by Scott Adkins, and a relentless alien army.
This film marks another collaboration between Uwais and XYZ Films. Their past projects include the global hit ‘The Raid’ and the sci-fi action film ‘Ash,...

Megyn Kelly gave her best impersonation of MSNBC’s Lawrence O’Donnell while mocking his comments about how GOP voters overwhelmingly agree with Donald Trump’s claims that migrants from the southern border are “poisoning” the country.
During their discussion of Trump’s Iowa Republican caucus win on Kelly’s podcast “The Megyn Kelly Show,” video of which you can watch above, the host and her co-hosts Stu Burguiere and Dave Marcus also chatted about Trump’s “poisoning” remarks, which he initially made during a rally in New Hampshire back in December.
“[Trump] said this thing about immigrants are poisoning the blood, and there’s a real question about whether some of the immigrants coming across our southern border are — we know they are — bringing fentanyl into this country and literally poisoning the blood. Possessing a sharp, analytical, and composed mindset that perfectly complements his hulking stature, a war horse like Jack Reacher surely must have foreseen the possible ramifications of going after a hard-boiled corrupt cop like Langston in his efforts to foil a terrorist scheme. After a number of close calls since the first episode of this season, danger finally caught up to Reacher’s team in the penultimate episode, leaving him in a critical juncture that, as of now, has forced him into the most vulnerable situation yet.
In the previous episode, Reacher and his team had managed to locate New Age’s director of operations, Marlo Burns, and they learned that she had hired Swan to investigate the company’s suspicious security department, which was filled with corrupt cops. Elsewhere, Detective Russo confronted NYPD Lieutenant Marsh about his shady dealings with Langston and ratting on Reacher’s team, and he...

Breakout Australia comedy Colin From Accounts is back in production.
An official green light of Season 2 of the hit Binge sitcom came in August, after writers and stars Patrick Brammall and Harriet Dyer chose to down their pens in solidarity with WGA strike in the U.S. over the summer.
Exec producer Alison Hurbert-Burns from Binge told Deadline in October production would begin in “coming months,” adding: “As an Australian program it was outside of the strike, but they just felt it was the right thing to do.”
Brammall and Dyer finished the scripts once a deal was struck at the end of September. Production is now back underway across Sydney, with Easy Tiger Productions and CBS Studios returning the produce.

Of all the shows airing these days, it doesn't seem fair to criticize "Reacher" for its lack of realism. Like the books before it, the Amazon TV series is a wish-fulfillment fantasy series for middle-aged dads (which is not to suggest other people don't love it too) and is not intended to hold up to a thorough fact-checking. Audiences love Jack Reacher because there's something inherently appealing about his lack of life commitments and his ability to beat up and outsmart any bad guy who crosses his path; it's not because they genuinely find it believable that Reacher would uncover a mass criminal conspiracy on an annual basis.
That said, author Lee Child still did his due diligence with Reacher's military background, and so did the writers for the "Reacher" TV series. The first three episodes of season 2 put a lot of focus on Reacher's time as the leader of...

Even before the Tom Cruise starrer series of movies based on Jack Reacher hit theaters, the character was quite popular among readers due to the straightforward yet captivating appeal of the series creator Lee Child’s novels. Grant had somewhat liked the portrayal of Reacher on the silver screen but chose to push the boundaries of a more accurate interpretation of the character by going through the Ott route, and the result was Amazon Prime’s surprise hit series Reacher. After proving itself to be a refreshing addition to the streaming service’s directory of action-crime genre contents through a taut first season, Reacher has returned with a second one, and the first three episodes of the season do a remarkable job of capturing the viewer’s attention with fast-paced storytelling and action.

CBS News will launch a fact-checking unit to examine misinformation and content generated via artificial intelligence, the network announced Monday.
The unit will be called “CBS News Confirmed” and will be led by senior vice president for CBS News and Stations Claudia Milne, and executive vice president and head of news operations and transformation for CBS News and Stations Ross Dagan.
“Technology is changing at an unprecedented pace. And the challenges created by the rise of generative AI, fake videos, and misinformation are too great for us not to meet head-on,” said CEO of CBS News Wendy McMahon in a memo to staff.
“I’m grateful to our leadership team who has committed to this effort and is always looking to protect and ensure our journalistic credibility,” McMahon said.
The goal of the new unit is to produce segments on its findings while explaining to viewers how the information was determined to be falsified.
