Exclusive: Piper Curda (May December), Noel Fisher (Shameless) and Josh Zuckerman (Oppenheimer) will topline Cogn-ai-tive, an AI thriller from first-time feature filmmaker Tommy Savas. It has wrapped production.
Written by Angie Simms, the film centers on a pioneering tech startup on the verge of launching Cogn-ai-tive — a new AI chatbot with unparalleled speed and intelligence. Soon, the team discovers their creation harbors a dark and sinister will of its own.
Hailing from Reckless Content in collaboration with Bridge & Tunnel Films, the indie also stars Natasha Behnam (The Girls on the Bus), Ritesh Rajan (Russian Doll) and Lucius Baybak (Dear White People). The production team includes executive producer Jason Schnell, producers Judy Craig and Kelly May, line producer Cameron Fife, and co-producer Justin Mooney.
“Cogn-ai-tive is a commentary on the ever-growing reliance on technology and artificial intelligence in our lives,” Savas said. “I’ve always been inspired by the iconic cinema of the ’90s.

Jacob Vargas, Lisette Olivera, and Jake Austin Walker in Disney+’s ‘National Treasure: Edge of History’ episode 10
The season one finale of Disney+’s National Treasure: Edge of History ties up all the treasure-hunting loose ends while dangling the possibility of where season two could go if the streaming service picks up the drama. Episode 10, “Treasure Protectors,” picks up the action right where episode nine ended, with Agent Hendricks (Armando Riesco) having just stabbed Agent Ross (Lyndon Smith) with a sword. We, the audience, now know he’s Salazar – the man we’ve heard about all season but whose identity has just been revealed.
When Billie (Catherine Zetta-Jones) questions Salazar about why he’s there, Rafael (Jacob Vargas) chimes in and reminds her that Salazar is the one who killed her brother. But, of course, Salazar claims Rafael is a liar.
After loading the boat, they set off to find the treasure.

Jacob Vargas and Lisette Olivera in Disney+’s ‘National Treasure: Edge of History’ episode 9
Episode nine of Disney+’s National Treasure: Edge of History is jam-packed with surprises, so buckle in. The episode kicks off with Jess (Lisette Olivera) and her father, Rafael (Jacob Vargas), being led through a private airport by Billie (Catherine Zeta-Jones) and her team. Rafael has a plan but Jess has one too, of course, and lets him know she has Ethan’s phone.
Before boarding the private plane, Billie reminds them that she heard everything and wants Rafael’s journal. She orders Kacey (Breeda Wool) to search Jess.
Elsewhere, Oren (Antonio Cipriano) is currently freaking out. He and Liam (Jake Austin Walker) went to Agent Ross (Lyndon Smith) and told her about Myles – his grandpa’s old nurse – being murdered. When Agent Ross checks out the scene, Myles’s body is gone and the room’s clean.

We’re halfway through the first season of National Treasure: Edge of History and the action is really heating up. Episode six, “Frenemies,” picks up right where episode five ended as Jess (Lisette Olivera) hops into a car with Billie (Catherine Zeta-Jones) to avoid the police. Billie shows her a medallion – the same one that Jess has – and claims to not only be a daughter of the Plumed Serpent but also insists they’re on the same side.
After Jess texts her friends to assure them she’s fine, she agrees to go to dinner with Billie. Billie shows Jess the medallion again and shows her a picture of her father, Rafael, with another man. Billie explains that the man in the photo is her brother Sebastian,...

I first fell in like with Reckless Tortuga after watching Psycho Girlfriend. Lindsey Reckis plays the role of highly insecure, emotionally erratic significant other to Tommy Savas’ comforting chill dude demeanor. She takes his innocuous asides to hyperbolic proportions, asks leading questions, and sets him up for failure in a way that varies from a touch to a helluva lot more absurd than our real-life interactions with a few choice ex-loved ones. In addition to telling tales of how crazy the ladies can be (amiright, fellas?!), Reckless Tortuga takes on obsessive gamers, killing zombies, dysfunctional theater groups, ghosthunters with attitudes, mail-order brides, douchebags you work with, and inane PSAs in a handful of web series that never fail to entertain. What started as a Let’s-throw-this-video-up-on-YouTube lark for Reckis and her Reckless companions, Eric Pumphrey and Jason Schnell, has turned into a sustainable business of making a living by making...
