Amazon is making a limited series about Prince Andrew’s disastrous interview with Newsnight journalist Emily Maitlis, Variety has learned.
Production is underway in the U.K. on the three-part series, titled “A Very Royal Scandal.” Michael Sheen will star as Prince Andrew, while Ruth Wilson will play Maitlis.

Thrussell also exec produced a number of Sarah Phelps’ BBC One Agatha Christie adaptations including And Then There Were None, Ordeal By Innocence and Witness for the Prosecution.

Poldark creator Debbie Horsfield has lifted the lid on the final season of the British period drama, which will air in 2019.
Horsfield has opened up about her approach to the fifth and final season of the Mammoth Screen-produced drama after BBC and PBS confirmed its end. This comes ahead of the launch of the fourth season, which launches on PBS Masterpiece on Sunday September 30 at 9pm.
Poldark is based on twelve novels by Winston Graham; season four is based on the seventh novel, The Angry Tide. However, the author left a gap of ten years before the eighth novel, The Stranger from the Sea.

Poldark producer Mammoth Screen is heading to the 19th Century to adapt Alexander Dumas’ The Count of Monte Cristo.
The ITV-owned indie is working with Poldark writer Debbie Horsfield on the remake after it emerged that Aidan Turner’s scythe-wielding drama is set to come to an end following its next season.

Red Riding actor Warren Clarke (Ross's uncle Charles), Whitechapel star Phil Davis (Ross's manservant Jud) and Skins veteran Alexander Arnold (Ross's farm hand Jim Carter) will also appear in the forthcoming drama.
Winston Graham's Poldark novels were previously adapted by the BBC in the 1970s, with Robin Ellis cast in the lead role of Ross.
Ellis - now 72 - will also appear in the new series, taking on the part of Reverend Haise for two of the eight episodes.
